Always looking flawless, it almost makes you wonder what are they doing different from you? Now all your questions have been answered! We've compiled a list of some of the top celebs of all ages, and are spilling their secrets when it comes to diet and exercise
10 Blake Lively
Long legs, toned arms, flat tummy. And, she recently had a baby! How does she do it? Well, with the help from her trainer, Don Saladino, Blake maintains her fabulous figure through a variety of exercise routines. Depending on her schedule, she works out anywhere from one to three times a week. She's been very vocal about not liking exercise, but still she pushes herself to get to the gym. Lively mixes up both the intesity levels and the parts of her body she works on different days of the week. For example, Monday, she works her arms, Tuesday, she may do legs. To keep her energy levels high, Blake consumes four proteins, veggie, and complex carb packed meals a day.
9 Charlize Theron
Charlize Theron maintains a very active lifestyle. She has spoken about doing yoga, spinning, and even hiking with her mom up to three times a week. A mom herself, she's always busy and on the go. If she's doing a certain movie role that requires her to look a specific way, she may add or subtract from her diet and workout plan. For example, when she was preparing for Aeon Flux, Theron would work out for up to three hours everyday and do activities such as gymnastics and capoeira. Theron's diet includes a lot of protein and veggies. She tries to stay away from carbs, but doesn't cut them out completely.
8 Bar Rafaeli
The gorgeous supermodel keeps her flawless figure through the art of balance. She says that if she wants to have something "unhealthy," she'll have it- but only a little bit. Overall, she says she eats pretty healthily but if she's trying to lose weight, she eliminates sugars, fats, oils, nuts, salt, and even caffeine. To stay toned, Bar likes to do TRX workouts. TRX is a type of suspension and resistance training that enforces the use of your own body weight. TRX training helps develop strength, flexibility, and balance. Additionally, Bar does Krav Maga, a martial arts workout.
7 Halle Berry
When we hear Halle Berry, we automatically think: Perfect body. And it's true, she does have a great figure- but there's a lot of hard work that goes into that. Halle Berry is actually a diabetic which means she has to monitor her diet and nutrition very closely. She's stated that she stays away from refined sugar and fried foods and eats a plethora of fruits and veggies. As far as her figure goes, Berry says she's not a workout fanatic, but she likes feeling strong and healthy. On Oprah, she said she eats five meals a day and works out for about 25 minutes- incorporating cardio and weight lifting.
6 Miranda Kerr
Let's face it, it would be very hard to emulate Miranda Kerr's physique. Tall, thin, and perfectly curvy, Miranda Kerr was definitely blessed in the gene pool. Still, the model works to maintain her figure. The supermodel's diet consists of lots of veggies and she works out regularly. Her workouts are mostly yoga based. She practices a mix of two types of yoga: Hatha and Kundalini. Kerr says she's been doing yoga for 15 years and it helps her in every aspect of her life. She says it helps her keep a clear mind, relax, raise her energy levels and even reduce her stress levels.
5 Candice Swanepoel
Another genetically blessed supermodel, Candice Swanepoel, maintains her figure with an active lifestyle and balanced diet. Although the model can basically eat whatever she wants (as I said, she's genetically blessed), the model tries to eat a lot of veggies, smoothies, and consume a high amount of protein. With the help of her trainer, Justin Gelband, the model stays toned. Candice boxes and does resistance training three to four times weekly. When preparing for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Swanepoel practiced ballet as well. Like Kerr, Swanepoel also practices yoga to keep her mind calm.
4 Sarah Jessica Parker
Sarah Jessica Parker- or some of you may still refer to her as Carrie- is still in amazing shape at age 48. The mom of three makes fitness a priority. And that's not only because she's a bit of a foodie- which she is. Parker works out regularly- she lifts weights, uses resistance training, and does cardiovascular work-outs. On top of that, she stays active playing with her kids, running errands, and riding her bike to get from place to place. When she's trying to lose weight, Parker eats a variety of lean meats, healthy fats, and low carbs to shed a few pounds.
3 Gwyneth Paltrow
Gwyneth Paltrow's slim legs, arms, and flat tummy are thanks to her fitness trainer, Tracy Anderson. Tracy Anderson is a fitness guru based in Los Angeles, but has also released DVDs worldwide. Paltrow works out six days a week and says that when she works out she really pushes herself. Paltrow never lifts more than three pound weights (as Tracy Anderson believes no woman should ever lift more than three pound weights) and does matt exercises to stay toned. To burn fat, Paltrow does intense dance based cardio training. Paltrow has a sensitivity to dairy, gluten, and chicken's eggs and tries to stay away from red meat, cow's milk, and eggplants. Other than that, she eats a pretty balanced diet.
2 Uma Thurman
Uma Thurman does a variety of workouts to maintain her figure. Like Charlize Theron, Thurman's workout regime changes depending on the role she's playing. For Kill Bill, Thurman underwent intense martial arts training and even lost 25 pounds. When she's not prepping for a role, Thurman stays active. She enjoys pilates and yoga but also loves to get outdoors and partake in activities such as running, horseback riding, snowboarding, and skiing. Thurman follows a paleolithic diet which means she avoids dairy and gluten and eats a high volume of veggies, nuts, grains, and fruits.
1 Gigi Hadid
Perhaps on of the biggest Supermodels in the world right now, Hadid is constantly under public scrutiny and must feel the pressure to look her best. How does she do it? Well, besides having great genes, the supermodel has been active her whole life. As a child, she rode horses and played volleyball. Now, Gigi boxes everyday that she can at Gotham Gym in New York City. As far as diet goes, she tries to eat a high amount of protein and veggies and cooks for herself when she has time. She says that she eats healthy six days a week and then on the seventh day, rewards herself with a "cheat day."
