15 Celebs Who Don't Like The Kardashians
They're arguably the most famous family in the world, but that doesn't mean everybody's keeping up with the Kardashians. Over the years, the Kardashian-Jenner clan has accumulated more than one person who's less than impressed with their antics. While some of Hollywood is totally behind the Kardashian brand, other stars aren't afraid to be vocal about their distaste for Kim K and her sisters. Let's face it: some of the negative observations other celebrities have made about the Kardashians are pretty accurate (though we're not sure that they justify bullying and name-calling!). On the other hand, a few of the following celebs seem to hate the Kardashians without much of a good reason. There certainly is a bit of a movement in Hollywood that involves hating on the famous family. It's up to you whether you agree with them or not, but here are 15 celebs who just don't like the Kardashians.
15 Anna Wintour
Since the evil editor-in-chief of Runway, Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada, is supposed to be based on Anna Wintour, it's fair to assume that there's a few people she doesn't really like. The editor of Runway's real-life counterpart Vogue, Anna has never exactly stated that she hates the Kardashians. However, she did hand Kim and Kayne this extremely backhanded compliment back in 2014: "The first celebrity that I put on the cover of Vogue was Madonna, and that was considered completely controversial at that time, too… I think if we just remain deeply tasteful and just put deeply tasteful people on the cover, it would be a rather boring magazine! Nobody would talk about us. It's very important that people do talk about us." She basically admitted that putting Kimye on the cover was a publicity stunt and that she doesn't find them tasteful, which means she finds them… what? Tacky?
14 Michael Bublé
Here's another celeb who's never outwardly claimed that he hates the Kardashians. However, actions do speak louder than words! To be fair, Michael's beef seems to be more in response to Kim Kardashian's actions, rather than just a bandwagon thing. Kim divorced her husband Kris Humphries after 72 days, and one of the people whom this didn't sit well with was Michael. While he was performing shortly after the news broke out, Michael invited Kim onto his stage, confusing the audience. He then followed his invitation up with, “Nah, just f**king with you. That b**ch isn't coming on my stage!" From these words, it's easy to gather that Michael wasn't cool with the way Kim divorced Kris after such a short amount of time. He later dedicated a song to the NBA player, reinforcing whose side he was on. We don't have any evidence to suggest that Michael hates the other Kardashians, though!
13 Sarah Michelle Gellar
Speaking of Kimye's appearance on the Vogue cover, many fashionistas and industry critics were outraged with the situation. One particular Vogue reader who was having none of it was Buffy the Vampire Slayer herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar. After the cover was released, she tweeted, “Well… I guess I'm canceling my Vogue subscription… Who is with me???" Again, this doesn't certify that SMG hates all of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, but you'd be forgiven for assuming she does. She also didn't specify exactly what it is about Kim and Kanye that she despises, but it's obviously enough to turn her off reading Vogue! Kim's BFF Johnathan Cheban came to her defense on Twitter, suggesting that SMG wasn't really important anyway. While we're not sure exactly why she isn't cool with Kim and Kanye, we'd have to disagree with Johnathan on that one. As the former star of Buffy, yuh, she's pretty freaking important!
12 Amy Schumer
Comedians in Hollywood generally make fun of the stars, and it doesn't necessarily mean that they don't like them. But Amy Schumer has made jokes about the Kardashians more than once, and she's also criticized them in serious conversation. Rather than just focusing on Kim, Amy is one of the celebrities who seems to have a problem with the entire Kardashian brand. She doesn't think they're great role models for young people. “We have to be a role model for these little girls, because who do they have?” she said on Saturday Night Live. “All they have really is the Kardashians." Amy further explained that Khloé Kardashian shedding “half her body weight” was not a positive message for the kids. The segment wasn't over without some Kardashian-related jokes, either: "Is that a great message for little girls, a whole family of women who take the faces they were born with as, like, a light suggestion?"
11 Farrah Abraham
Fellow reality star Farrah Abraham is another public figure to not like the Kardashians, though she's a lot less subtle about it than some of the others! Her issues with them began after Khloé reenacted a feud Farrah had with Nicki Minaj on her talk show Kocktails with Khloé. Farrah didn't appreciate being the topic of jokes and conversation on TV, so she fired back on Twitter. “Flattered @SnoopDogg played me on @FYI," she tweeted. "Look forward to my own talk show when this one gets canceled." Yikes! Farrah then went on to drag Khloé's sisters Kim and Kourtney into the situation. After Kourtney announced that she was pregnant with her second child, Farrah was quick to respond. "Did she not learn anything from Teen Mom? Maybe it's a fake pregnancy like Kim's wedding SAD." It doesn't seem like any of the sisters are safe from Farrah's line of sight!
10 Wendy Williams
If we're being completely honest, there aren't isn't a huge amount of people whom Wendy Williams doesn't bring up on her talk show. We know she doesn't like Beyoncé, she's said that Rihanna won't be a legend in years to come and has taken digs at many other artists, so naturally, the Kardashians were probably going to be the subject of her opinions sooner or later. It all began when Kanye West attacked his ex, Amber Rose, during some Twitter beef with Wiz Khalifa. According to Wendy, this was a sure sign that Yeezus' marriage to Kim is fake. "I'm embarrassed for Kim Kardashian," she said. "I'm not even going to call you West because clearly, that's not a real marriage… like why is Kanye still talking about [his ex] Amber? What kind of respect, or lack thereof, does he have for his new son, Saint, or his daughter?" Those are some pretty strong assumptions!
9 Jon Hamm
Actor John Hamm isn't a huge Kardashian fan and isn't shy about telling the world how he really feels. His main problem with Kim is that she gets high ratings and a large amount of success, which he doesn't think she deserves. "Whether it's Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated," he told Elle UK. "Being a f**king idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture." It seems like he doesn't just have a problem with Kim and her fam, but also their legions of fans, and pop culture in general. Jon has himself been described as a symbol of desire in the past, but he was also quick to make clear that he doesn't value that title at all, and Kim K shouldn't either. "The sexy thing is so ephemeral and meaningless," he said. "You might as well be a Kardashian and have a tape."
8 Adrienne Bailon
A lot of these stars are just judging the Kardashians based on what they've seen and heard in the media, but finally, we have a star who has actually been around the family and gotten to know them first-hand. Adrienne Bailon appeared in the early days of Keeping Up with the Kardashians when she was dating Rob Kardashian, but things turned sour between them when he cheated on her during their engagement. Adrienne has had no time for the entire family ever since and told Latina magazine in 2014 that she was glad to be rid of them. "To be stuck with that Kardashian label, that was so hurtful to me and to my career. I probably realized that too late - not that it would've affected my decisions in terms of who I dated, but it would've affected my decision to appear on the show. At the time, I didn't think anyone would even care."
7 Kristen Cavallari
The Hills star Kristen Cavallari hasn't been the same with the Kardashian family ever since rumors surfaced that she was having an affair with Kourtney's on-again-off-again man, Scott Disick. We know; doesn't it seem like the Kardashians are the ones who should have a problem with Kristen in this situation? Well, Kristen claims that the family totally fabricated the story in order to up the ratings on their show, and also to divert attention away from Kim, who was accused of faking her marriage to Kris Humphries at the time. We'll never know exactly what's up here! Kristen voiced her feelings on The Billy Bush Show: “What convenient timing for them with their show premiering next week. With everything that's going on for Kim, I feel like they're trying to take the heat off her. It's disrespectful to me and Jay and I think it just says a lot about their character."
6 Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoon made a famous jab at girls with reality shows and leaked tapes during one of her acceptance speeches, and though she didn't include any names, we're pretty sure we know whom she was talking about! While trying to inspire the millions of little girls watching, Reese gave this advice: "It is possible to make it in Hollywood without doing a reality show." She may not have even uttered the letter 'K', but that is definitely where everybody's minds went! She then said, “When I came up in this business, if you made a homemade tape, you were embarrassed and you hid it under your bed!" Really, this diss could have also been aimed at Paris Hilton, or pop culture in general, but we just know it was a Kardashian thing. Although we're so over everybody shaming Kim, Reese is right in telling kids that they can make it in Hollywood the old-fashioned way!
5 Daniel Craig
When Bond himself brings you up in an interview, you know you've ruffled some feathers! Daniel Craig revealed his distaste for the entire Kardashian family in an interview he did with GQ and basically said that they've made a fortune without any talent. "Look at the Kardashians, they're worth millions," he said. "You see that and you think, 'what, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f**king idiot on television then you'll pay me millions?'” So he never explicitly stated that he hates them, but we get the idea. He also isn't cool with the Kardashians wanting any privacy: "You can't buy it back. You can't buy your privacy back. 'Ooh, I want to be alone. 'F**k you. We've been in your living room. We were at your birth. You filmed it for us and showed us the placenta, and now you want some privacy?'" Very strong words, indeed!
4 Troian Bellisario
Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario isn't a fan of any of the Kardashians and is totally against the way they're so popular in our society. In fact, she was totally Team Taylor when Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian had their little feud over Kanye West's "Famous" lyrics. When Torian was asked about the beef at the Democratic National Convention, Torian was perfectly honest: “Oh god, I have such an aversion to the Kardashians because I literally don't understand people's obsession with them and I don't want to accept them as our closest thing to a royal family, so I guess I would be Team Taylor Swift?” Troian might be Team Taylor in this context, but she still isn't a fan of the pop superstar. “… It seems like she's [Taylor] this person who's like, "Sisterhood!" and then she does nothing but tear down the women that were once her friends.”
3 P!nk
P!nk has never been shy about speaking out against the celebrities she doesn't like, and the Kardashians are no exception. Although she didn't specifically name Kim in this recent message, it had Kardashian written all over it! "Shout out to all of the women, across the world, using their brains, their strength, their work ethic, their talent, their 'magic' that they were born with, that only they possess. It may not ever bring you as much 'attention' or bank notes as using your body, your t*ts and a$$es, but women like you don't need that kind of 'attention.' In the quiet moments, you will feel something deeper than the fleeting excitement resulting from attention, you will feel something called pride and self-respect. Keep on resisting the urge to cave. You will never have to make silly excuses for yourself." We suppose that's a positive message for young girls to hear!
2 Kris Humphries
If there's one person who is not a Kardashian fan, we're guessing it's Kris Humphries. Kris's relationship with Kim was a huge component of the family's reality TV series, and their wedding was completely televised. Unfortunately, the marriage only lasted 72 days, and after that, Kris accused Kim of several nasty things. Since she was the one who filed for divorce, he claimed that she was a fraud who had married him simply for publicity and ratings. We're guessing he wasn't thrilled with Kim moving on so quickly either. He also stated that her family didn't accept him and his parents, who had to fly back from the wedding in coach, despite the Kardashians' crazy wealth. Kris made it clear that his feelings about the family have not changed when Caitlyn Jenner revealed her transition from male to female. “Thank God I got out of that family in time," he tweeted after the revelation.
1 Barack Obama
He is no longer the President, but we still are all ears when Barack Obama makes a comment about any celebrity! While he was still leading the country in July of 2013, Barack revealed a possible disliking of the Kardashian concept while talking about how children view the world. “We weren't exposed to the things we didn't have in the same way kids these days are… Kids weren't monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing, or where Kanye West was going on vacation, and thinking that somehow that was the mark of success." That's a pretty mild jab in comparison to some of the others on this list, but that's about as sassy as Presidential jabs get (not including attacks from Mr. Trump!). Even Kris Jenner took offense to the comment. "I find it so odd that he's picking on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West… Kim Kardashian is the hardest-working young lady in the world.”
