However, Scarlett later came to Travolta's defense saying that naysayers got it all wrong. For his second awkward kiss on this list, Kanye West is back but this time with his wife Kim Kardashian. Yeezy isn't typically the type to show PDA, but the 2015 Grammy Awards was a different story. Maybe the rapper had one too many cocktails or maybe he was just overwhelmed with the beauty of his wife, but Ye was feeling a little frisky on the red carpet.

He pressed his lips against Kim's face and squeezed on her rear end as the press clamored for the perfect shot of the epic moment. The king and queen of awkward kisses, hands down, are Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey. When the two were married they were the subject of jokes and seemed as if they were constantly trying to prove to the world that their love was real. Because she's 11 years older than him and one of the greatest and most celebrated singers in the world, fans had a hard time believing that she would fall in love with and marry the kid who was a Nickelodeon star.
