The Jersey Shore Cast Where Are They Now?
The Jersey Shore was a reality TV show classic. The MTV series had the perfect cast of housemates who brought a lot of drama and humor to every episode. Watching people spend their summer at the Jersey Shore may seem like a boring concept, but the show kept people entertained for 6 seasons and ran from 2009 to 2012. It was so popular that it even inspired spin-off shows in the United Kingdom and Spain.
We learned to love each and every cast member as we watched them go from strangers to best friends. Even if you thought the show was trashy, chances are, you couldn't stop watching. They even made it to Barbara Walters' list of fascinating people. Many viewers got attached to their lives and were sad to see the show end. If you're wondering what the cast has been up to after the Jersey Shore ended, here's an update.
10 JWoww
Jennifer Lynn Farley, aka JWOWW, was a 23-year-old graphic designer when the show first aired. She had a badass attitude and notoriously cheated on her boyfriend back home with castmate Pauly D. Over the course of the show, JWOWW definitely grew up, and during season 3, she met Roger Mathews and began a serious relationship with him. JWOWW and Roger are still together to this day. They got married in October 2015 and are the parents of two children, Meilani Alexandra and Greyson Valor. After the series ended, JWOWW and Snooki had a spin-off show for a few years. It never was as popular as the Jersey Shore, but it did last four seasons. JWOWW also made appearances on other television shows - she had a recurring role on One Life to Live, and also went back to being on reality tv. She was on Marriage Boot Camp - Reality Stars with her husband and was also a contestant on Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition. Jenni even starred in a movie called The Mint, which she helped create.
9 Snooki
Nicole Polizzi, aka Snooki, made quite the impression when the Jersey Shore first aired. She made the poof hairstyle famous and was one of the most popular Halloween costumes for a few years. Although she was the quintessential guidette, Snooki matured as the show progressed. Like JWOWW, she also met her future husband while the show was still running. She married Jionni LaValle in 2014 and the pair have two children, Lorenzo Dominic and Giovanna Marie. Despite rumors that Jionni may have had an Ashley Madison account, the couple remains together. After the Jersey Shore ended, Nicole was on Dancing With The Stars and The New Celebrity Apprentice which was hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger. She will also be returning to MTV for an eight episode series called Nicole & Jionni's Shore Flip which will be about the couple flipping homes. Jionni will be responsible for the construction, and Snooki will be decorating the renovated houses.
8 Pauly D
Paul DelVecchio, aka DJ Pauly D, was all about the gym, tanning, and laundry when he was a castmate on the Jersey Shore, and it seems like he still is. He was 28 when he first joined the show, so I guess he was already set in his ways. He is still an active DJ and the show opened up a lot of opportunities for him. He wound up working with some big names, including 50 cent, Britney Spears, Big Sean, and Jay Sean. In 2013, Pauly D announced that he became a father, but a complicated relationship with the mother led to some custody drama. It seems like things got sorted out shortly after, and he recently shared a picture of him and his daughter having a tea party. Pauly D returned to reality television last year on E!'s Famously Single, where he ironically met his current girlfriend, singer and former member of Danity Kane, Aubrey O'Day.
7 Vinny
Vincent Guadagnino was only 21 when he joined the cast of the Jersey Shore. He was raised in a traditional Italian-American family and was the good guy on the show. Vinny actually had plans to go to law school or become a professional actor, but after the success of the show, his plans changed. He had a short-lived talk show on MTV after the Jersey Shore ended and also started a podcast called Get Into It. After laying low for a few years, Vinny returned to television. Vinny and his mother recently started a show on the Cooking Channel called Vinny & Ma Eat America. The show documents his mother trying a variety of foods she's never had before as they travel across the country. Vinny is a huge fan of The Bachelor and often tweets about the show. It would be awesome if he winds up being on it one day!
6 Sammi
Samantha Giancola, aka Sammi Sweetheart, joined the Jersey Shore cast as a 22-year-old college soccer player. She immediately captured fellow housemate Ronnie's attention, and the two had an on again off again relationship throughout the show. After the series ended, it seemed like not much had changed. The couple seemed to be going steady until they broke up in 2014. Sammi took the time apart to focus on herself and her career, specifically her clothing line, Sweetheart Styles, which also included jewelry. Before launching the line, Sammi had also created a fragrance called Dangerous. Sammi and Ronnie wound up getting back together a few more times, but as of now, it seems like Sammi is single. The reality star now has her own podcast with TV host Clare Galterio called Just Sayin' in which they discuss relationships and gossip. The podcast used to also have Siggy Flicker as a co-host.
5 Ronnie
Ronald Ortiz-Magro Jr. worked with his father in the real estate business before joining the cast of Jersey Shore. Ronnie was most known for his up and down relationship with Sammi, which caused a lot of drama on the show. After the show wrapped up, Ronnie kept his personal life pretty private and stayed mostly out of the spotlight. Ronnie was brought up a few times in the tabloids after splitting up with Sammi. Pauly D had to convince Ronnie to join the upcoming season of Famously Single. The show sparked a romance between him and Malika Haqq, who has reality show fame of her own from Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Although the couple only lasted 2 months, it seems like they split amicably and who knows what the future will hold. You can watch their romance begin when the show airs this summer on E!.
4 The Situation
Michael Sorrentino, aka The Situation, was a proud to be single 27 year old when the Jersey Shore first aired. Mike constantly stirred up drama on the show and was frequently feuding with his housemates. Once the show ended, Mike took advantage of his reality show fame and made several television appearances. He was a contestant on Dancing With The Stars, Celebrity Big Brother, and Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition. He also was on the last season of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition with his brothers Marc and Frank. Mike had checked himself into rehab to help him deal with an addiction to oxycodone, and it seems like he is doing a lot better. He got engaged to Lauren Pesce, who he was on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars season 3 with. Lauren, the founder of The Style Bae, and Mike had dated in college and decided to give their relationship another shot.
3 Deena
Deena Nicole Cortese was a cast member of the Jersey Shore for seasons 3 to 6. She joined the show in 2011 after Angelina left the show. Deena had tried out for season 1 of the series but was not selected. Snooki recommended her as a replacement for Angelina, and she quickly fit right in with the rest of the housemates. When she joined the show, she was a big party girl and drinker, so it is kind of surprising how low key she has been since the series ended. Deena and her boyfriend, Chris Buckner did appear on VH1's Couples Therapy, but we have not seen much of her since then. The couple is still together and got engaged in November 2016. Deena and Chris seem very happy, and you can see many pictures of the two of them, and her beautiful engagement ring, on her social media accounts.
2 Angelina
Angelina Pivarnick, the self-proclaimed Kim Kardashian of Staten Island, might have been the most hated cast member of the Jersey Shore. She left the show twice - she got evicted for refusing to work at the t-shirt shop in season 1 episode 3, and then left the house again in season 2 episode 19 after fighting with her housemates. She was made fun of a lot on the show by the cast, and she has gone on to say some pretty rude things about them in the media. After her stint on the show, she went on Couples Therapy with her then boyfriend, Chris Nirschel. She also released a few singles including “I'm Hot”, “Gotta Go Out” and “Serendipity”. Angelina continues to start feuds with the Jersey Shore cast - she recently accused Snooki of copying her by getting lip injections. Angelina did get engaged last year to Louie Gero.
1 Ryder
Caitlyn Ryder may not have been a housemate on the Jersey Shore, but she definitely made a lasting impression. Snooki invited her best friend to visit the house a few times during the series. Ryder was a fun guest on a few episodes and even stirred up some drama by hooking up with Vinny. Ryder has a pretty large social media following and frequently uses it to support her sister, Erin Ryder, who creates web series and is also a TV host. Although we haven't seen many pictures of Snooki on her posts, it's likely that the two are still friends or at least acquaintances. Ryder did attend Nicole's baby shower, but there was no sign of her at the wedding. This could be because Nicole and Jionni once fought over the fact that Nicole and Ryder drunkenly kissed. It looks like Ryder is currently enjoying the single life.
