What Netflix Show You Should Watch Based On Your Zodiac Sign
What would you do without Netflix? That's pretty much a rhetorical question at this point. Of course, thankfully you don't have to worry about life without Netflix since it seems like the streaming service is pretty popular and getting more and more popular every single day. You can barely remember what it was like before. What, you had to wait to watch a new episode of your favorite show every week? That's crazy. You can't even imagine that. You definitely have your fave Netflix shows and are always trying to get your best friends to watch what you're watching so you have someone to talk to about them. There's nothing more frustrating than being obsessed with a television show… and not knowing anyone who watches it. #firstworldproblems. If you're looking for your next binge watch, why not look to your zodiac sign? Read on to find out which Netflix show you should watch based on your zodiac.
12 Taurus: Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life
This is the best news ever, right?! If you're a Taurus, then your Netflix show should definitely be Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life aka the revival that was released on the platform in late November of 2016. Being a Taurus is basically like being Rory Gilmore. You're a loyal friend and girlfriend, you are good at committing to work projects, and you are okay with things changing because you can pretty much go with the flow. You're a family person too, which is definitely Rory since her best friend in the whole entire world is none other than her lovely and hilarious mom, Lorelai. The worst thing about you is that you can be stubborn, and of course Rory can definitely be pretty stubborn, especially when she's got her mind set about something and things just aren't going too well. Any excuse to re-watch these four episodes is a good one, don't you agree?
11 Gemini: The OA
Being a Gemini means that you're an air sign. You are a popular person and also a pretty spiritual person. You listen to your gut instincts on a regular basis, enjoy being around others, and are eager to learn as much about the world and society as you can. Your Netflix show if this is your zodiac sign is definitely The OA because this describes the main character for sure. When you first start watching the show, you learn that Prairie disappeared from home years ago and has finally returned to her parents. But she's not the same and it turns out that she has a pretty crazy and out there story to share. It's an extremely interesting and spiritual show and fits into both the mystery and science fiction genres. If you're into all things supernatural, then you have probably already binged the first season and are eagerly awaiting the second season.
10 Cancer: Stranger Things
Thankfully, the second season of Stranger Things is not too far away (it's set to start streaming in October 2017 -- okay, okay, that is pretty far off in the future). This is your Netflix show if you're a Cancer because that means that you're a homebody who cares deeply about your friends and family. You're a courageous person as well and you like being useful to others. Sounds like every single one of the characters on this show, don't you think? The adorable kids are really interested in helping each other and also helping find their friend who disappears at the beginning of the series. They also adore hanging out at each other's houses (or in each other's basements, really) and making up games which are pretty impressive. You weren't making up games like that when you were their ages, that's for sure.
9 Leo: Master Of None
Being a Leo means that you're all about love and dating and romance, so it makes sense that your Netflix show would be Master Of None, Aziz Ansari's comedy which is all about modern dating. The first season is about a young guy who starts dating someone new and it's absolutely charming, hilarious, and super smart, too. You are supposed to be a confident person and sometimes you can seem more cocky than not, and that totally describes the main character too. Sure, he's really sweet and all that, but sometimes he seems like he has a pretty big head. If you enjoyed the first season, then you're definitely psyched about the second season which is about to start streaming. It seems like these new episodes will also be about dating since that seems to be the whole point of the show, and you can't wait.
8 Virgo: Bloodline
You're a really nice person who doesn't need to always be the life of the party. You are cool with hanging out by yourself, you have a big heart, and even though you're usually pretty quiet you're always thinking hard. Your Netflix show is definitely Bloodline since it's pretty calm and quiet as far as dramas go. Sure, the storylines are juicy and interesting, but you can use your brain when watching since you have to solve the overarching mystery. It's definitely right up your alley. You will care about the characters pretty much immediately and want them to be happy, but you will definitely be frustrated since everything is a mess for this family from pretty much the first minute of the pilot. Indulge in some glorious alone time with the first few seasons of Bloodline and catch up before the final season is available for streaming.
7 Libra: One Day At A Time
You really care about things being fair and people getting what they deserve if Libra is your zodiac sign. You care about your family a lot and will make sure that your relatives get what they want and are happy, even if you have to give up something in return. Your Netflix show is definitely One Day At A Time, which is a modern version of the 1970s and 1980s show. This hilarious and brilliant sitcom is about a family living together under one roof: Penelope, her teenage son Alex, and her teenage daughter Elena, and her mom Lydia. Everyone does their best and tries to help each other, and Penelope has definitely given up a lot of things in order to ensure that her kids are happy and healthy. There are a lot of social issues that are discussed on the show and the idea of justice and fairness is a big theme.
6 Scorpio: Love
When your zodiac sign is Scorpio, you need some time to chill out all by yourself and can get super cranky when you don't get that. You can be either super thoughtful or super rude and annoying. That totally sounds like Mickey on the Netflix show Love. She's a smart radio producer who is really good at her job and has a great work ethic, but on the other hand she is kind of mean and can really be in a bad mood. If you're a Scorpio, then it's definitely time to check this show out. If you haven't seen it yet, you're going to absolutely love it. It's a hilarious show about two random people who meet each other in an L.A. grocery store and decide that they should date… and then decide that they shouldn't… and then decide to date again. Yup, it's exactly as complicated and confusing as that sounds.
5 Sagittarius: Girlboss
Being a Sagittarius means that you're a smart, artistic person who is not afraid of some adventure. That's definitely the definition of a #girlboss since if you're not smart or artistic, then you can't possibly create your own business or figure out what kind of career will really make you happy. The main character in the Netflix show Girlboss, which is based (loosely) on the popular memoir of the same name, is super into the fashion industry and wants to start her own company. More than that though, she wants to pave her own way and ensure that she's living life on her own terms. She's super creative and her worst nightmare would be working in a dull office or even working retail. When you see her working in a shoe store at the beginning of the show, she's totally and completely miserable and wants to make a change and fast.
4 Capricorn: Grace and Frankie
Being a Capricorn means that you are a determined person. You have a super strong work ethic and really want to create a successful life for yourself. That sounds just like Grace from the hilarious Netflix show Grace and Frankie. She has worked super hard her entire life and created her own business, which she gave to her daughter when she retired. In the most recent season, Grace and her best friend Frankie have started their own business, and Grace is proving just how ambitious she still is, even at this stage of her life. This should totally be your dream Netflix binge-watch if you're just as ambitious and as much of a hard worker as Grace. You can learn a thing or two from her and she will seriously inspire you. Plus, the truth is that this is a really funny, quirky show and Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin give absolutely amazing performances.
3 Aquarius: Orange Is The New Black
If you're an Aquarius, that means that you crave both alone time and being super social, so when you think about it, that's exactly what the inmates on Orange Is The New Black are dealing with. On the one hand, they want to bond with their fellow women and spend time together, and on the other hand, they want to be alone so they can read or think about their lives and their future (even if sometimes, the future seems pretty bleak and scary). You're supposed to have a lot of patience and also hide your emotions from other people, which is another thing that you have in common with the women on this original Netflix drama. You probably already watch this show and can't wait for the new season (which is thankfully airing super soon) so being told that this is the absolute perfect Netflix show for your zodiac sign probably isn't a problem at all.
2 Pisces: 13 Reasons Why
The best thing about being a Pisces is that you have a lot of sympathy for other people. You can feel their feelings and really understand what they are going through. So, naturally, your perfect Netflix show is none other than 13 Reasons Why. You've probably watched the 13-episode first season (maybe more than once) since it's been impossible to avoid it lately. Literally everyone is talking about it and now that it's been renewed for a second season, you can look forward to a binge-watching even more episodes when the new season starts streaming (which definitely isn't soon enough). Of course, being a Pisces who is pretty emotional, you're definitely going to cry when you tune into this show. That just goes with the territory. You will really understand what ever character is struggling with and you will want to give them all a great big hug.
1 Aries: House Of Cards
If you're an Aries, then you're a fire sign and that honestly describes a lot of your personality traits. You are never happier than when you can compete with someone and you are definitely a natural leader. Your worst trait is that when you're focused on something, you can't think about anything else and you can seem pretty self-centred to other people. You don't think that, though. You're too busy working hard and you love what you're doing. You're basically a character on the Netflix drama House of Cards so this is totally your show if you're an Aries. Doesn't this sound like Claire and Frank Underwood? Exactly. They are totally obsessed with winning and finding success in the political realm and they will stop at absolutely nothing to get what they want. Hopefully you're not as mean as that, though…
