Each year the Met Gala presents itself as a night to remember, but once it ends, that doesn't mean the celebrities turn in for the night. The after-parties aren't only a time to continue the celebrations in a more social manner, but it also opens the door to changing into a whole new look. Hello, wardrobe change!
Since the Met Gala has some of the most exclusive after-parties, it's no doubt that celebrities entertain the night in their own, unique fashion. Sometimes they skip the actual event and just attend the after-party. But, can you blame them?
From models completely cutting their Met Gala gown, to sultry Snapchats, there was no shortage of things to talk about the morning after, including these celebrities who did the after-party their way.
10 Kylie Jenner
Kylie Jenner stole the show all night from her famous family, and that didn't stop at the after party. Her classy transformation from her wild, colored hair and glossy pouty lips did her well all night. She donned a dark bob, easy makeup, and a fall Balmain '16 dress at the Balmain after-party, and we're keeping our fingers crossed that we'll be seeing more of this KJ from now on.
9 Karlie Kloss
Kloss couldn't get out of that (gorgeous) gown quick enough, huh? Though we adored the white Brandon Maxwell floor-length gown, we can't blame her for wanting to show those legs off towards the end of the night. Luckily for Kloss, the designer was on hand to do the trim himself… while she was still wearing the dress, nonetheless. Talent all around, I'm tellin' ya!

Olivia Wilde gave a whole new meaning to LBD. Her shiny little black dress was pulled together perfectly by pairing it with Jennifer Fisher earrings, silver clutch, and of course, black platform Brian Atwood heels. Perfectly simple and pulled together in classic Olivia Wilde fashion.
7 Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid
These two are the couple that leather together and stay (in) together! From the looks of Gigi's Instagram account, these two laid low after the Met Gala in matching leather jackets, but they weren't the only two who made us have Met Gala after-party envy by doing a lot of, well, nothing really.

Selena snapped a photo of her after Met video from the sofa captioning it, "How my after MET looks #partyof4." Still, we can't help but be envious of that party of 4. No matter what the reason Selena skipped on going out with her girls (cough, cough, Bieber?) we're sure wherever and whatever she was doing was still more fun than the everyday Sunday Funday. What you can't see is Gomez get up in a playful manner with music playing in the background and her friends dancing around. We'd take that dance party any day!

Speaking of . Just because he skipped the Met Gala this year didn't mean he was going to miss the after-party fun. Justin paired his new shaved hairdo with a very unbuttoned shirt and stopped by The Boom Boom Room for the after-party action.

Madonna, Diplo, and The Weeknd pose together at Up&Down in Chelsea. This after-party was hosted by The Weeknd and Naomi Campbell. No wonder some of the biggest celebrities around attended and it was said to be THE party to be at that night.

Ansel Elgort looks exactly like the guy you'd want to see at a party. Not as unbuttoned as Justin Bieber, Ansel also wore his under blazer white shirt a bit unbuttoned. Let loose, Elgort!
