You never really want to hear a story about anyone being cheated on, but it can also give you a bit of perspective to realize that it can happen to anyone. Well, anyone who's with a cheater, that is. The following are some examples of extremely beautiful and successful women who were with men that clearly didn't value what they had. The stories behind the affairs vary, but some of them are pretty extreme.

Christie Brinkley's former husband Peter Cook was caught cheating on her when he made a video with an 18-year-old that he met at the toy store she worked with. Oh god. Their divorce was a crazy one with a lot of bad blood between the two of them. It was also extremely public. Cook explained his infidelity with the most classic excuse… Christy drove him to it. Ouch. He has said, "I was seeking a connection I could not find in my own marriage… I think we were both feeling more like we were living with a brother and sister than a life partner… I was a guest in someone else's life."

She has spoken about having to work with him following the split: "At the end of the day, we're grown-ups, and I actually think it's interesting that when people split in a way that's unpleasant, they usually just go on quite literally hating each other - or the person in my situation hates the other person, whatever - but when you have to work with somebody for another half a decade, you kind of have to deal with it. Infidelity was also supposedly the reason for Jude's break up with Sadie Frost before he and Sienna got together.
