Part and parcel to becoming a celebrity is being resigned to the fact that your private life becomes practically non-existent, especially if you're famous in this day and age of technology and social media. Yes, many celebs still insist that they are entitled to their own personal time away from their public appearances and filming or recording hours, but the media and the fans don't seem to acknowledge this. Fans, in particular, would do any and everything just to so much as get a look at their favorite celebrities in person.

Yes, many fans are out of line in the way they stalk their favorites 24/7, whether it's on social media or seeking them out in their homes or places of work. But celebrities have also been known to display some outrageous behavior and a short fuse of patience when it comes to dealing with their admirers, who, celebrities sometimes fail to remember, we're the ones who put them on the map in the first place!

Known for his sarcastic wit and jaded sense of humor, Jon Stewart gained popularity as a television host and satirical critic on The Daily Show, a news program that pokes fun at all things happening in pop culture and politics. Interacting with fans on social media can be both an advantage for one's reputation or a detriment to it. And James Franco had to learn things the hard way. Franco was said to have propositioned a 17-year-old fan whom he met among a crowd of fans waiting to get his autograph after his show on Broadway finished. A series of text exchanges between the two were published in the dailies, displaying how he asked if the teenager had a boyfriend and what hotel she was staying at. The actor was properly put in place when he found out she was underage.

Will Smith is generally known to be a level-headed, even-tempered guy. Once known as the rapper The Fresh Prince, he starred in the wildly popular TV show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Since then he has become known as one of the sexiest actors in Hollywood, charming fans in his roles in the films Independence Day, Men In Black, and Hitch. He may be known as a good-natured family guy, but even he has his limits. In this clip, Smith is shown slapping a fan after said fan got too up close and personal with the actor.

This fan must have been very excited to get the chance to meet Russell Brand during his book signing. But what happened here is just cringeworthy, she must have gone in for a hug when Brand decided to giver her a smooch on the cheek, either way that awful situation was captured, being a  moment this fan will never be able to forget.

But like any ordinary person, she has her limits. When she was performing in Edmonton, Canada during her 1989 world tour, one eager fan grabbed her ankle as she strutted the catwalk while singing. Swift looked shocked and stared the fan down something fierce while he was taken away by security.
