Kids are kind of a hot topic. On one hand, procreating is a natural function of the human body and we're basically slaves to our hormones. There's nothing like an intense period to remind you that there are wild things happening in your body. On the other hand, some people don't think that everyone on the planet should be having kids, thanks to overcrowding, not having enough money to properly raise children, and the moral concept that some people just suck at being parents. But nothing is hotter than the breaking news about a celeb pregnancy, and the masses eat up paparazzi photos and parenting tips. And look how fashionable North West is. While some celebs make a point to put their children first, others are comfortable saying no way. Here are 13 celebs who never want kids.

13 Jennifer Aniston

The Friends star hasn't exactly said that she doesn't want children, but she has stated that she doesn't think anyone should be asking her about it. She doesn't feel she needs to be a mom in order to feel like her life is complete: "I don't have this sort of checklist of things that have to be done."

12 Kim Cattrall

In 2011, the Sex and the City actress mentioned that she had wanted kids but it never happened, and she also expressed the loneliness that the entertainment industry can breed. More recently, she's spoken out that she feels she's a parent in other ways, as she's a mentor and donates money to schools.

Jay Leno and his wife Mavis never had kids although they've been together since 1980, and while Jay hasn't chatted about it to the press, Mavis sure has. She's said she grew up as a feminist with super strong ideas against marriage and children… although, of course, she changed her mind about tieing the knot when she met Jay.

No one would argue with the fact that Oprah is one of the busiest women in show business, and she knows it all too well. The mega mogul has joked that if she had kids they would "hate" her due to her busy career. She does support a lot of young women thanks to her Oprah Winfrey Academy of Leadership for Girls. She's proof that you don't have to have kids to make a difference in the world of the youth.

In the past, the hunky actor has said that he both didn't want kids and he had no plans to get married, but we know how that last part turned out. George ended up marrying his current wife Amal at the age of 53. So far there haven't been any signs that the two are reconsidering the child thing.

The celeb couple has not been super into the idea of having children, but the ladies did adopt a puppy that they named Kid, which is pretty funny, but would you expect anything less from the comedian?

3 Ricky Gervais

Ricky Gervais and his long-term partner Jane Fallon decided shortly after meeting as students that they didn't want to ever have children. They have also never gotten married. He once said in an interview, " I'm the sort of person who has to check three times that I've shut the door, so I'd probably stare at a kid all day to check it was breathing." But Ricky does write a book series for children called Flanimals which he really enjoyed.

Helen Mirren has always chosen to prioritize work over having her own family, and has even joked about marriage being a "voluntary imprisonment." She did marry director Taylor Hackford in 1997 and is glad that she got married later on in life.

Chelsea Handler has admitted that she doesn't think she would make a great mom, partly because of her busy schedule. She just never thought she would be a good mom and wasn't into the fact that her kid might have to be mostly raised by a nanny thanks to her crazy life. More recently, she has added that she is considering getting married someday (which she wasn't in the past), but that she still didn't see kids in the picture.
