Celebrity parents can be disappointing. When famous couples get together, we'd like to think that they'll live up to our expectations and remain faithful to their partners and give birth to rich, little, beautiful children. However, many hot Hollywood couples fold under pressure, especially those baby daddies who find themselves engulfed in scandals. It's always worse when there's a kid involved. 13 Jude Law

Terminator-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger proved that he was trustworthy enough to keep a secret but not trustworthy enough that he wouldn't cheat on his wife with the maid. After being married to Maria Shriver for 25 years, Arnold revealed that ten years prior he fathered a son, Joseph, with their housekeeper, Mildred Baena. If that wasn't bad enough, when Mildred was pregnant with Joseph, Maria was pregnant with her son, Christopher. That wasn't all; Mildred and Joseph lived with the Schwarzenegger family for a decade before the revelation, which just added insult to injury. After admitting to his affair, Maria left him.

One thing many people couldn't understand was after looking at pictures of Joseph and the striking resemblance he has to his father how anyone didn't question paternity a long time ago.

11 Dwayne Wade

Lovers of reality television know all about rapper Peter Gunz. In 1998, radio stations had his hit "Uptown Baby" on heavy rotation, but in recent years he's starred on VH1's hit show "Love & Hip Hop." As soon as Peter was reintroduced to the spotlight reality fans saw that he was a hot mess.

While dating his longtime girlfriend and mother of his two kids, Tara Wallace, Peter secretly started a relationship with one of his artists, Amina. He told Amina he and Tara were just co-parenting while telling Tara that he was just helping Amina's career. Fans watched as the women collided and by the end of the season, Amina announced she was pregnant. The following year during a reunion special, Tara, too, was pregnant with their third child. But wait! Amina was pregnant too! Both babies were born in 2016. With his brood of kids reaching almost a dozen (he has others with other women), Peter made the brilliant decision to have a vasectomy but still remains a member of the "Creep Squad."

9 John Edwards

Not only was John Edwards a loser when he tried to run for president, but he was labeled a loser for what he did to his wife and family. He was named "The Most Hated Man in America" by The New York Post over his lies and denials about his affair with a woman named Rielle Hunter. His affair occurred during his campaign for president, you know, when his wife was battling breast cancer. Allegations that Edwards was the father of Rielle's daughter made their way to the media and repeatedly Edwards said he never had sexual relations with that woman.

In 2010 he admitted that the kid was his and his wife Elizabeth filed for separation. Many people believed that even after he admitted to the affair with Rielle, the extramarital lovers were still sleeping with each other. Sadly in December of 2010, Elizabeth passed away even though Edwards claimed her cancer had gone into remission.

8 Kevin Federline

"Moesha" star Shar Jackson was sitting on top of the world in both her personal and professional life. She was a part of a hit show, was booking movies and television roles, and started a family with fiancé Kevin Federline. Their daughter Koi was born in 2002 and in 2004 they were preparing for the arrival of their son Kaleb but separated while Shar was near the end of her pregnancy.

Kevin was carrying on a relationship with pop star Britney Spears and went on to marry her, devastating Shar. Brit-Brit and Kev's relationship was a favorite for the paparazzi and the couple had two sons together. After a bizarre breakup, a court gave Kevin full custody of their sons in 2008 and Britney was ordered to pay him $20,000 a month in child support. After two years of marriage they divorced, and in 2013 Kevin married Victoria Prince and welcomed two more children.

7 Eddie Murphy

Spice Girl Mel B took center stage in 2006 when the tabloids spread rumors that she was dating Eddie Murphy. Soon there were rumors that she was pregnant and everyone assumed that Eddie was the dad, however the actor wasn't claiming baby daddy status. Baby Angel was born in 2007 and Eddie demanded a paternity test - a test that confirmed that, in our best Maury voice, You are the father!

A court ordered him to pay child support and Angel joined the long list of  Murphy's children. Eddie met ex-wife and hot model Nicole Mitchell in 1988, and later married her in 1993. However, somehow in that timeline he had a son with girlfriend Paulette McNeely in 1989 and another son in 1990 with girlfriend Tamara Hood. He would go on to have five children with Nicole and in 2012 Eddie and his model girlfriend Paige Butcher welcomed a daughter, Izzy.

6 Mel Gibson

Oh, Mel Gibson. He was once considered a hunky Hollywood actor, but then he got hit with the crazy stick and his reputation hasn't been the same since. Fans thought that Mel and ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva were a happy couple, especially after the birth of their daughter Lucia. However, things took a turn for the worst when those controversial Gibson tapes made the rounds of him acting like a lunatic.

He said, "You go out in public and it's a f--king embarrassment to me. You look like a f--king bitch in heat, and if you get raped by a pack of ni--ers it'll be your fault. All right? Because you provoked it. The former couple spent a year in court trying to agree on custody of Lucia, and in the end Oksana got $750,000 plus child support, a rent-free home until Lucia is 18, and Lucia being included in Mel's estate.

Michael Lohan is a celebrity father known to have meltdowns in the media. Over the years he's been plagued with legal issues including accusations of insider trading, for which he served three years in prison. Then in 2004 he was charged with assault resulting from a fistfight with a family member and later a DUI which landed him in jail. Then he was arrested for trying to walk out on a $3,800 hotel bill, and then he was charged with assault once again for punching a sanitation worker in the face. When he met Kate Major everyone thought that maybe he was calming his wild ways, but that went out the window after he was arrested in 2011 over a domestic violence incident. His daughter Lindsay followed in his footsteps and developed alcohol and substance abuse problems like her father and her issues were played out in the media through her run-ins with the law.

4 Diddy

Hip hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs has built an empire envied by anyone looking to create a Fortune 500 brand. He's known to be a devoted dad who loves his kids, but that doesn't mean that there weren't a few whispers about his conduct.

Diddy has six children: Justin (1993) who he had with high school sweetheart Misa Hylton-Brim; Christian (1998) and twin girls D'Lila Star and Jessie James (2006) with on-again-off-again girlfriend Kim Porter; daughter Chance (2006) who he had with Sarah Chapman; and he's raised Kim's son Quincy (1991) who she had with R&B singer Al B.

Now, if you check those dates, you'll see that Diddy had three new daughters born in 2006. Both Kim and Sarah were pregnant at the same time but gave birth five months apart (Sarah first). It's said that when Kim found out about Sarah's pregnancy, she dumped Diddy.

3 Hulk Hogan

Things were rocky for a while there between Hulk Hogan and his daughter Brooke. Not only did the legendary wrestler cheat on his wife Linda, he did so with Brooke's best friend, Christiane Plante. It was bad enough that people were suggesting that he may have had inappropriate feelings for his own daughter (rumors that were never substantiated, by the way), but dating your daughter's pals isn't going to get you a "Best Dad Ever" mug on Father's Day, either.

Christiane said in an interview with the National Enquirer that she didn't break up the Hulk's marriage. “My relationship with Terry began at a time when Terry and Linda privately knew their marriage was ending,” she said. “She had left him already, although no official papers had been filed.” Her relationship with Brooke went down the toilet and her relationship with the wrestler ended.

2 Woody Allen

One of the most controversial celebrity fathers on this list is Woody Allen. When actress Mia Farrow was married to Andre Previn, they adopted a seven-year-old girl named Soon-Yi in 1978. That marriage didn't work out, but when Mia later married Woody, he became Soon-Yi's stepfather and the couple continued to expand on their family.

In 1992, when Soion-Yi was 21-years-old, Mia discovered that her adopted daughter was having an affair with her husband. The media coverage of the scandal was outrageous but the odd couple persevered and married in 1997. In an interview with TIME, Soon-Yi claimed that even as a child she never saw Woody as a father figure. However, Woody would say in an NPR interview years later that "she responded to someone paternal" and that's why their dynamic worked. There's something about that that makes us shudder.

In 2014 Woody's other adopted daughter Dylan Farrow accused her father of molesting her in 1992 when she was seven-years-old. Both Woody and Soon-Yi have denied the allegations.

1 Matthew Knowles

Beyoncé and Solange Knowles' family seemed as if they were solid as a rock, but that was shaken when their mother, Tina, filed for divorce after 31 years of marriage. Rumors had been circulating that her husband Mathew Knowles had not only been carrying on an affair with a woman named Alexsandra Wright, but he was also the father of her son, Nixon. A paternity test proved the rumors true and Mathew was ordered to pay child support.

Not long after, a woman named Taqoya Branscomb filed a paternity suit against Matthew claiming that she gave birth to his daughter, Koi, in 2010. Following the scandals Beyoncé fired her father who was acting as her manager. Hopefully he's put all of his philandering behind him seeing as how he got married in 2013 to a woman named Gena Charmaine Avery.
