When two of our favorite celebrities date, it's pretty much the best thing ever. We hang on their every word in magazine and television interviews. We check out their separate Instagram accounts in the hopes that we can catch a cute kiss or something. We social media stalk them in general because we're dying to know what's new in their relationship. It's part of the fun of being interested in the pop culture world. But then celeb couples break up and we are totally and completely devastated. When two stars go their separate ways and we are huge fans of them, it's like we've been dumped ourselves. We can't get out of bed. We want to eat our weight in ice cream. We're scared to go online in case we see either one of them dating someone new. Thankfully, we still have our brilliant and vibrant imaginations and we can confidently say that here are certain celebrity couples that we think should still be crazy in love.

15 Katie Holmes And Chris Klein
Before Katie Holmes was Mrs. Tom Cruise (and way before she got divorced), she dated none other than American Pie actor Chris Klein. The two of them were super cute together and the truth is that they were even engaged for a while. We definitely wondered what went wrong and how they ended up going their separate ways because we honestly thought they were made to last. Don't they just look like the best couple ever?! They are America's sweethearts. They look so happy in every single photo that exists of them together as well so it's really hard to believe that there was ever trouble in paradise. But then things become clearer when the actor was interviewed back in 2012. He said they were "kids" and that the break-up most likely happened because they were just so young. He also had some trouble with alcohol and a DUI but says that wasn't the cause of them going their own ways. Now that we know, they think they should give their romance another shot since they are clearly older and wiser.

Remember this late 90s/early 2000s couple?! This handsome and dreamy actor was the star of all your favorite romantic comedies and you always loved checking out his latest movie. Sure, Josh got away from the whole Hollywood scene a while ago and has only had a handful of parts recently. But that's exactly why we think that someone awesome like Julia Stiles would still totally be his dream girl. She manages to be super successful while still flying mostly under the radar -- she never gets in trouble or even seems to be photographed all too often -- and she's just a really sophisticated woman. Okay, so they ended up breaking up because it turns out that when you date someone that you star in a movie or something with, things can take a turn for the worse. Josh has said "everybody makes mistakes" and that he ended up romantically linked to some of his costars because they could talk about their experiences and relate to each other. It breaks our hearts that these two lovebirds broke up and we think that needs to change ASAP. We have to admit that we were totally and completely shocked when we learned of their breakup and we're not sure that we've ever really gotten over it. The reason why we think they need to give their love a second chance is that Joshua Jackson seems to be having a tough time dating. He has said in interviews that the wild and wonderful world of online dating is a bit crazy and that he finds the whole scene totally changed from when he was single the last time. Okay, so we're sure that he could find someone that he gets along with since he's so cute and so talented and so funny. But we're not so sure that he would find someone as perfect for him as Diane Kruger. They dated for ten years. Ten years. Talk about a love meant to last.

At first, this celebrity couple might have seemed a bit mismatched. She's a super ethereal actress who has starred in indie films and stepped back from the spotlight since her ex Heath Ledger's tragic passing. He's a hilarious comedic actor who is really just a big kid. But when we saw them together in the early stages of their relationship, we had to admit that opposites really do attract and that we thought they were destined for the long run. We think it's super sad that things didn't work out and we are rooting for them to realize where they went wrong and get back together. Come on, the two of them look so good together and they even hung out with her daughter. We think that it must have been super serious if Michelle had him spend time with her kid. They honestly look like a real family, don't they? The rumor going around is that Michelle was a bit of a commitment phobe but we think she could get over that if they got back together.

Okay, so every Taylor Swift fan may not agree, but we think that this was Taylor's most successful relationship yet (besides the fact that they ended up breaking up). We know that it's hard for Taylor to meet a guy that she can really and truly open up to and relate to… like the rest of us. Except, of course, she's super famous and wealthy and successful. So she's not really like the rest of us. But we can pretend. We think that she and Calvin Harris are still pretty perfect for each other since they're both in the music industry and can relate to each other on that level. We can only imagine how amazing their conversations were. Plus we love their song "This Is What You Came For" and can only imagine the beautiful music they would continue to make together. We really think they should give their love a second shot.

So if things really don't work out with Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris, then we think that she should give her romance with Jake Gyllenhaal another go. After all, their brief but awesome love story gave us the brilliant and beautiful song "All Too Well." We love how poetic and real it is and can only picture the other songs she would write if they rekindled their relationship. We're not sure what went wrong but we think that they must be destined to be together if she could write such a great song. It sounds like they really hit it off and were meant to be together. Sure, they were a couple for maybe three months at the very most, but that's exactly why it's time to give things another go. Sometimes it takes losing someone to realize how you feel. It's not like her other relationships have worked out since then, right?!

This celebrity couple may have broken up a while ago but we think that the High School Musical stars need another chance to see if they have a lasting love. They were just the cutest couple ever. They seemed really in tune with each other (bad music pun) and it definitely seems like the breakup was super painful. She said in some interviews afterward that it was a long-distance relationship at the end of the day and those can suck no matter who you're dating. Okay, okay, we kind of believe that… but we think that something else must have happened to make the adorable and young lovebirds say goodbye to each other. We think that their love story is definitely not officially over and that if they know what is good for them, they should give it another go. After all, it's awesome to get a second chance and sometimes it takes being older and wiser to really make something work.

Okay, okay, so we kind of suck. We know that it's super cliche to think that Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt should get back together. They've both moved on. He was with Angelina Jolie. She's married. But… well, we can't help it. We really think that they were an awesome celebrity couple and we wonder on a pretty regular basis if they would be able to make things work a second time. After all, there must be a reason that the world was just so insanely obsessed with their break-up. They were just so good together. We just don't think that a love story like that comes along very often. Sorry Jennifer, we love you and we're really sorry if this upsets you. We get that you're happily married now and hate that we're even saying this. But we're still dreaming that you're going to wake up one day and realize that you miss Brad.

They got officially divorced in 2012 but we're still not over that and we're not sure that we ever will be. But… in our heart of hearts, we totally believe that they deserve a second chance and that things could work out much better this time. But we're not so sure about that celeb relationship, either, and we think that she needs to admit her mistake and go back to Gavin. Yeah, we get that maybe we're being kind of nuts since we have absolutely no idea what caused the break-up. But we're okay with that. We'll go with our crazy beliefs and keep thinking that Gwen and Gavin need to realize that they're totally made for each other. We're willing to wait forever if that's what it takes for them to get back together.

We think they had a really cool Hollywood thing going on -- well, at least that's what it seemed like from her cookbooks describing their family life -- and, come on, their kids are just super cute. We love seeing celebrity couples that really look meant to be with each other and we have to admit that this is how we have always felt about these two. We mean… just look at them. They are so blonde and so cute and so beautiful. We really wonder what went wrong and if they miss each other and if they would ever consider getting back together.

These two famous lovebirds were going to get married… and then fate had other thoughts and they ended up splitting up a few months ago. Rumors are flying around online and apparently Lady Gaga wants to get back together with him and desperately misses him. Well, that makes two of us. Okay, so we don't exactly know him and we've never met her either, but we're big enough Lady Gaga fans to admit that we think she belongs with him. They are just such a cute couple. It's like we can feel the love between them when we stare at a photo of them at a fancy event or even just hanging out. Since he's an actor and she has since branched out into that world as well with her awesome part on American Horror Story, we think it's cool that they have that in common. 90s kids are cheering right now because these two are the poster couple for that decade. When it comes to a love story that never really ended, we think that these two take the cake. Sure, Britney has moved on and had kids and Justin is with Jessica Biel (and oh yeah, he's a parent as well) but we still think that these two should get back together. It's the 90s kid in us and we can't stop thinking about this. Remember the matching denim picture?! Exactly. We can't not look at that photo and not believe that there's even a remote chance that these two could try again. We know that they were really young and pretty innocent when they were first dating but since they have gotten older and wiser and had more life experiences, they could really commit to each other and their love would be even stronger.
