15 Former Reality Stars And What They're Up To Now

Reality television stars really do get their fifteen minutes of fame. Sometimes it lasts much longer than that and they appear on the same show for a decade. If they're living a truly crazy life that seems to lend itself to drama both on-screen and off, then they might be in the spotlight for a while. Other times, they last for a single season and you never hear from them again. That doesn't mean that you forget about them, of course. You always wonder what happened to some of your favorite former reality stars and sometimes you try your best to keep up with what's going on in their lives (or at least you try to keep up with their social media accounts). The funny thing about reality stars is that sometimes, you feel even more attached to them than to actors or actresses. Maybe it's because you feel like you're getting a glimpse at the real them… even though you know that reality TV is not always, well, real. Here are 15 former reality stars and what they are up to now.

    15 Gretchen Rossi

Remember Gretchen Rossi? This blonde beauty was a cast member of The Real Housewives Of Orange County from season four until season eight. Her storyline was definitely a bit of a rollercoaster. One minute she was BFFs with Tamra and the next, they were mortal enemies. It was seriously confusing… and it definitely made you want to keep tuning in. Another point of contention? The fact that she's dating Slade Smiley. The other ladies weren't big fans of this relationship and that caused a lot of drama and arguments over the years. Eventually, Gretchen left the show. So what has she been doing since then? She has a makeup line called Gretchen Rossi Cosmetics. She also sells home decor, clothing, and accessories on her website. Recently, news broke that six former Real Housewives would be starring on a sitcom called Altered Reality. Gretchen is one of them and it's about women who used to be reality TV stars. Sounds about right.

    14 Jill Zarin

Jill Zarin was a staple of The Real Housewives Of New York. She was on the show from season one until season four and it's impossible to forget the epic fights that she used to have with Bethenny Frankel. Back in the day, the two of them were the very best of friends, but for whatever reason, they went their separate ways and now they definitely don't talk. Jill has made a few super brief appearances on the show recently, but she's definitely a former reality star. She will be on the sitcom Altered Reality but has been doing some other things, too. She wrote a book called Secrets of a Jewish Mother with her mom and sister, she was in a TV movie called Night Of The Wild and she has been running her clothing lines. She and her husband Bobby own Zarin Fabric Warehouse. Oh, and if that's not enough, Jill is also listed in real estate in NYC.

    13 Snooki

Did you know that Snooki was on The New Celebrity Apprentice? The former Jersey Shore star has definitely cleaned up her act since her days on that show. She's no longer getting drunk and getting into big fights with everyone around her. After the show ended in 2012, Nicole Polizzi has done a lot of really cool things. After starring in a spin-off of the reality show that made her famous, she wrote five books and had a new role: mom. These days, she is busy raising her two kids with her husband. A lot of the press around Snooki's appearance on The New Celebrity Apprentice in the first half of 2017 was about how much she has changed and become more mature since her original reality show days. It's pretty interesting to see the transformation. But hey, everyone has times in their life when they are more into partying than anything else, and it makes sense that now that she's 29 and approaching 30, she is focusing on other things.

    12 Courtney Kerr

    Black & white details 🏁🏁// http://liketk.it/2rKOh #liketkit @liketoknow.it #KERRentlyWearing

A post shared by KERRently by COURTNEY KERR (@kerrently) on Jun 20, 2017 at 7:49am PDT

In 2012, Courtney Kerr starred on her own reality show called Courtney Loves Dallas. It was a super fun show that followed the Dallas-based fashion blogger as she hustled, hung out with her best friends, and contemplated her love life. This show was actually a spin-off of Most Eligible Dallas, a 2011 reality show that was about single people in Dallas trying to find love. These days, Courtney is still living a fabulous, fashionable life, and she's turned her fashion blog What Courtney Wore into an online magazine called KERRently. All it takes is one quick glance at the website and you can tell that you want absolutely everything that she wears. The girl has some serious style. Today, she is 34 years old and is still living in Dallas. Oh yeah, and she's also dyed her hair blonde, has bangs, and looks amazing.

    11 Jamie Chung

Back in 2004, Jamie Chung starred on The Real World: San Diego and that show put her on the map. Today, Jamie is 34 years old and is married to actor Bryan Greenberg (who you definitely have seen on How To Make It In America or when he dated Peyton on One Tree Hill). Jamie has had a super successful acting career since her reality TV days. She has been starring as Mulan on Once Upon A Time and was in movies such as The Hangover Part II, Grown Ups, and Sucker Punch. She also runs a fashion blog called What the Chung. It's a beautifully designed blog with even more beautiful content so she's definitely doing an amazing job with it. Her blog will give you some serious clothes envy… and some serious wanderlust. According to her Twitter bio, she is based both in New York City and L.A.

    10 Stephen Colletti

Remember when Stephen Colletti was on Laguna Beach? It's easy to forget that he is a former reality television star since you might remember him better as Chase on One Tree Hill. Chase was definitely popular with the ladies. First he dated Brooke, then singer Mia, and then actress Alex. Since then, Stephen has had a few roles in films and television shows. He was in six episodes of a TV show called Hit the Floor. But besides that, he seems to be laying pretty low, and the bulk of his career has been on Laguna Beach and One Tree Hill. Stephen was also a recent guest on the podcast Married With Television, hosted by his One Tree Hill co-star Lee Norris (aka Mouth) and his wife Andrea (who they joke is a "normal person" since she's not an actor). You can follow him on Instagram and spot the cameos from his former co-stars, which is pretty fun.

    9 Adrianne Curry

Adrianne Curry won the first season of America's Next Top Model back in 2003. After that, she was on a few TV shows such as E! True Hollywood StoryHalf & HalfBridalplasty, and Tales of Halloween. She also produced some shows such as Adrianne Curry's Superfans. She also went through what seems like a pretty tough divorce. It's a pretty crazy story that involves a lot of different reality TV shows. Adrianne met Christopher Knight (who played Peter Brady on The Brady Brunch) on a reality show called The Surreal Life. That show was all about former celebrities living in a house together. Once the two of them were dating, they got their own reality show called My Fair Brady. Christopher asked her to marry him on the first season finale. The second season was all about their upcoming wedding and they tied the knot in 2006. They broke up in 2011 and were officially divorced in 2013.

    8 Stephanie Pratt

Remember Stephanie Pratt, Spencer Pratt's sister? If you were a fan of The Hills (which of course you were), then you probably thought that she seemed pretty sweet, at least compared to some of the others on the show. She has a degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Marketing. Stephanie then starred on the British reality show Made in Chelsea before appearing on two other reality shows, Celebrity Big Brother and Celebs Go Dating. Since the show, Stephanie has shared her secrets in a memoir called Made in Reality: From the Hills of L.A. to London's Made in ChelseaShe says that she suffered from an eating disorder and had a drug problem. These days, it seems like Stephanie is doing much better. If you go on her Twitter account, you can see that she is selling sports and nutrition supplements.

    7 Jillian Harris

Jillian Harris was on The Bachelorette in 2009. She didn't end up marrying Ed Swiderski and the two went their separate ways after she picked him as the winner at the end of her season. Since then, she has been doing super well. It turns out that she is a really accomplished interior designer and so that has been her life. She is the host of the television show Love It Or List It Vancouver. These days, it looks like she has it all, from the successful career to her love life. She is marrying Justin Pasutto and the two of them have a baby boy, Leo. In fact, Jillian and Justin have their own reality show that is currently on the air called, of course, Jillian and Justin. It looks like reality TV definitely agreed with her and that she has managed to create an amazing, fun life for herself because of it.

    6 Heather DuBrow

Heather DuBrow was often the voice of reason on The Real Housewives of Orange County. She appeared on the show from 2012 until 2016 and recently, news broke that she wouldn't be coming back for the 12th season in the summer of 2017. It's a real bummer for fans since Heather was such a joy to watch on the show. But she definitely has a lot of stuff going on in her life. She's married to Terry DuBrow and they have four adorable children. She's also super busy, whether she's hosting her podcast called Heather DuBrow's world or acting or creating beauty products with her cosmetic surgeon husband. If you're going to miss Heather's clever commentary and positive attitude, you're definitely not alone there. It's a real shame. Apparently, at least according to the rumor mill,

    5 Olivia Palermo

Remember Olivia Palermo on The City? She was basically an enemy of Whitney Port's, aka the star of the spin-off of The Hills. Back in 2009, the two of them were working together in the PR department at Diane Von Fürstenberg. Olivia also worked for Elle magazine when she was on the show. She is well-known as an NYC socialite but she has also modeled and been involved in the fashion world. In 2014, Olivia and The Fancy worked on an e-commerce site together, and later that year, Olivia worked with Shutterfly on some home design projects. In 2016, Olivia started working with Banana Republic as their "women's global style ambassador." She has also been busy looking fabulous and fashionable, so if you want some style inspiration, you should definitely check out her social media accounts.

    4 Roxy Olin

Roxy Olin was one of Whitney Port's best friends on The City. If you're wondering what she's been doing since then, it's pretty much all in the family. She is the daughter of Ken Olin, a well-known TV actor and director (he starred on Thirtysomething and Brothers and Sisters and directs This Is Us), and actress Patricia Wetting. In the past few years, she has had a few acting credits to her name. She was on Brothers and Sisters and appeared in one episode of Sleepy Hollow and Kingdom. These days, it looks like she is working on the tearjerker drama This Is Us, as she has talked about that on her Instagram and Twitter accounts. In a sweet Father's Day post, she thanked her dad and wrote, "To my Hero… Thanks for keeping me employed, making me laugh till I can't breathe, loving me through all the crazy."

    3 Kelly Cutrone

Kelly Cutrone was definitely the voice of reason on both The Hills and The City. Whitney Port and Lauren Conrad worked for her at her fashion PR firm, People's Revolution. In one episode of The City, Kelly was hyper-focused on Whitney's super skinny model friend Allie. She kept asking her if she was okay and seemed to think that she had an eating disorder. Allie kept denying it and then no one talked about it beyond that episode. Since appearing on those reality shows, Kelly has been super successful. She wrote two awesome memoirs, If You Want To Cry, Go Outside published in 2010 and Normal Gets You Nowhere published in 2012. In 2010, Kelly starred on her own reality show Kell On Earth that had eight episodes. Today, she is still living in New York, still running her company, and she's also busy being a mom to her daughter Ava.

    2 Whitney Port

These days, Whitney Port is happily married to Tim Rosenman and expecting a baby. She's been making headlines for saying that she doesn't want to sleep with her husband while she's expecting because she's "uncomfortable." TMI? Possibly. But hey, is there such a thing as too much information when you have starred on a reality show? Probably not. She told People magazine, "I feel so uncomfortable with my body that I can't get into the mood." When Whitney starred on her reality show, she was interested in getting into the fashion industry and becoming super successful, and it turns out that is exactly what happened. She runs her fashion line, Whitney Port, out of L.A. She shares personal stories about her pregnancy and her life in general on her website, so you should definitely check it out if you are a fan.

    1 Lauren Conrad

    Shooting new @papercrown today…

A post shared by Lauren Conrad (@laurenconrad) on May 3, 2017 at 1:17pm PDT

It looks like something is in the air… Lauren Conrad is also happily married (to William Tell) and is expecting a baby. Since her days on The Hills, LC has been super busy and super successful. She has branched out of the fashion world and written several young adult novels, but fashion seems to be where her heart truly is. She has been running her own fashion and lifestyle business. She has had a clothing line sold at Kohl's for a while now and is currently working on a maternity line since, of course, she's got a bun in the oven. Lauren also got her line called Paper Crown. If you want to swoon over someone's Instagram account, you should definitely follow Lauren Conrad if you're not already. She's got an amazing IG feed and she carefully creates her content. If you're into pastels, you will go crazy. So it looks like there really is life after reality television.
