15 Hot Royals Besides The Windsors

We know all about Will, Kate, Harry and the rest of the British royals, but we rarely hear about the princes and princesses from the other monarchies around the world. Royal families aren't nearly as prominent in society as they once were, but that doesn't mean they are confined to the history books or our fave Disney childhood classics. Countries like Sweden, Denmark, Jordan, and Thailand boast their own princes and princesses who do not always make the headlines like the Windsors do but are just as royal and fabulous. While it is true that Prince Charming only exists in fairy tales, there are still some fine real-life monarchs wondering around for us to spot. Some of them are even single! Yes, your dreams have come true. We have compiled a list of the 15 best-looking royals aside from those wonderful Windsors that you probably never heard of. But thanks to us you have 15 new hot people to stalk!

    15 Prince Carl Phillip

The only son of the King and Queen of Sweden is Prince Carl Phillip, who has the official title of the Duke of Varmland. Aside from having those rugged European good looks, Prince Carl is constantly busy running royal errands on behalf of his father, the King, who is getting on a bit. Being a prince isn't all about partying and being a playboy. Prince Carl has also completed his military service and acted as a commander for combat boats, which takes him up even more notches in our book! Who doesn't love a man in a uniform, royal or not? When he isn't doing royal things, one of his biggest hobbies is race-car driving. Prince Carl is fourth in line to the Swedish throne, as his older sister Crown Princess Victoria and her children come first, and is married to the beautiful Princess Sofia. Sorry ladies, he is taken.

    14 Charlotte Casiraghi

The second child of Princess Caroline of Hanover, Charlotte Casiraghi is the eighth in line to the throne of Monaco. Her sophisticated beauty probably has something to do with the fact that her grandmother was the late Princess Grace of Monaco, and she is a mother to Raphaël Elmaleh. Though Charlotte has royal blood in her veins, she has still worked hard to fill her life with a variety of jobs. If we were princesses, we'd probably lounge around all day with cocktails, so good on her! Charlotte is the co-founder of Ever Manifesto, a free print publication, and served as the editor-at-large for Above Magazine. She's also totally into the equestrian thing and has acted as an ambassador for Gucci. Not bad, Charlotte. Though she generally lives her life as a private citizen, Charlotte also attends royal events and is often seen at fashion shows. She's also been on the cover of Vogue Paris.

    13 Andrea Casiraghi

Charlotte's oldest brother is Andrea Casiraghi, who also happened to inherit those Princess Grace good looks! Not only is he a babe, but he also happens to be fluent in a number of languages including French, Italian, English and German. That's something that would look good on a Tinder profile! He has appeared in People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People list, and like any European storybook royal, enjoys water sports and horseback riding. Andrea has a B.A. degree in visual arts and international politics from the American University of Paris and also has a Masters in international affairs from New York School. He is currently married to Tatiana Santa-Domingo, who gave birth to their son Alexandre Andrea Stefano “Sacha” Casiraghi in 2012. Their daughter, India, was born in 2015. Andrea has been known as somewhat of a rebel in the past and even had his driver's license confiscated after he was caught speeding.

    12 Princess Iman bint Abdullah

This girl is only 20, but she's already shaping up to be a top princess. She is the eldest daughter and the second-eldest child of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan and has already shown the world her amazing sense of fashion, which she no doubt inherited from her gorgeous mother. Princess Iman is constantly seen wearing modest and elegant outfits when she attends royal events alongside her mother, and with those dark eyes and luscious hair, they might even be mistaken for sisters. Princess Iman is currently studying at Georgetown University. Her brother, Crown Prince Hussein, is already there majoring in International History, so she shouldn't be too lonely. Princess Iman is also something of an athlete and was awarded the title of top female athlete in the class from the International Academy Amman in 2014. In between studying, she can be seen frequenting official engagements with her family.

    11 Crown Prince Frederik

The elder son of Queen Margrethe ll and Henrik, the Prince Consort, Crown Prince Frederik is heir to the throne of Denmark. Born in Copenhagen, Prince Frederik has studied at Harvard University, completed extensive military service for his country, and is fluent in four languages: Danish, English, French and German. So in other words, he's totally a catch and a half. The best part about Prince Frederik, for us commoners anyway, is that he didn't marry a Princess, but a regular girl he fell in love with called Mary Donaldson. She's a princess now and makes an appearance later on in this list, but we love that he didn't feel pressured to marry somebody purely because of their status! Prince Frederik is also interested in climate change and sustainability has participated in a bunch of exciting expeditions and has been tasked with a number of honorary, royal activities. He's pretty much flawless.

    10 Princess Madeleine

Princess Madeleine is the youngest child of the King and Queen of Sweden, King Carl XVl Gustaf, and Queen Silvia. She is currently sixth in line to inherit the Swedish throne and is married to an American financier with whom she has two children, Princess Leonore and Prince Nicolas. Aside from being a blonde bombshell, Princess Madeleine is involved with lots of charity work. She is the patron of the Swedish version of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and also interned at the division of child protection services at UNICEF in New York City. The only thing better than a princess is a princess who gives back! In her spare time, Princess Madeleine loves horseback riding and competed as an equestrian under a secret pseudonym. She is also passionate about culture, theater, art, and dance and is fluent in three languages: Swedish, English, and German. She also speaks a bit of French!

    9 Crown Princess Mary

Born Mary Donaldson, our favorite thing about Crown Princess Mary is that she was a regular person before she fell in love with the Prince of Denmark and became a real princess! The couple met in 2000 when Prince Frederik was visiting Mary's home country of Australia for the Sydney Olympics. They reportedly met in a pub, and a secret relationship fuelled by love letters and discreet international visits followed. In other words, this girl went for a night out at a bar and ended up marrying a prince. Tell your girlfriends that the next time they want to stay in! Prince Frederik's mother had to give permission for him to marry Mary, but she did, and the two had a gorgeous royal wedding. Mary did have to uproot her life, learn Danish and move to Copenhagen, but it's worth it for true love, isn't it? The couple now has four children.

    8 Prince Wenzeslaus

Prince Wenzeslaus of Liechtenstein was born in Belgium and today serves as Prince of Liechtenstein in addition to Count of Rietberg. You might have heard of this dashing prince before, though U.S. tabloids have traditionally referred to him as Prince Vincent, probably because his name is kind of a pain for an English-speaker to spell. He is the son of Prince Philipp and Princess Isabelle and has two brothers: Prince Alexander and Prince Rudolf. Though he has a few royal titles under his belt, Prince Wenzeslaus is perhaps most famous for being romantically connected to supermodel Adriana Lima. The two dated when she was in her early 20s, but it didn't last very long. We don't know what happened, but we do know that those half-royal half-supermodel children would have been amazing! Today Prince Wenzeslaus is in his early 40s and from what we understand, is no longer dating supermodels.

    7 Prince Philippos

Prince Philippos was kind of born into a sticky situation, but that doesn't mean he's any less of a royal! Despite being part of the Greek Royal Family, Prince Philippos was born in London, after his family had to flee to Greece into exile and a referendum established that the monarchy in Greece was over. Prince Philippos first went to Greece when he was a boy, and at that time, the government only permitted his family to enter certain areas and kept a close watch on them. So you could say there was some bad blood! Things have cooled off since then though, and Prince Philippos's parents, King Constantine ll and Queen Anne-Marie, now live in Greece permanently. Prince Philippos graduated from Georgetown University and still regularly attends a variety of royal events. He has ties to many European Royal Families, and can always be spotted at the Royal Wedding of the season!

    6 Nicholas of Romania

The only son of Princess Elena of Romania and Robin Medforth-Mills, Nicolas of Romania was once known as Prince and once in line to the throne. However, in 2005, he was stripped of his title and succession rights, which has understandably left a few Romanians confused. He may have spent his childhood surrounded by majestic palaces, but Nicholas has also done some regular-joe stuff throughout his life, which makes us think he would make a relatable partner! He moved to England from his home in Switzerland when he was still a child, and joined the Beaver Scouts. Cuteness! Aside from that, he enrolled in a management course at the University of London. He's also done his fair share of princely activities, including leading grand expeditions to South Africa, Namibia, Madagascar and Zimbabwe, working for the British Army as a rafting trainer, and attending various royal galas and festivities, despite losing his title.

    5 Prince Félix

Prince Félix is the second son of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa and is second in line to the throne of Luxembourg. From his photo, you can tell that he is aesthetically gifted, but Prince Félix is also known to be extremely intelligent. He has studied no less than five languages, and after frequenting a Swiss boarding school, he joined the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Despite being of royal blood, Prince Félix has studied at many other institutions to gain the qualifications he needed, and worked in a few interesting jobs, including acting as an independent consultant for an event coordination company in Switzerland. He is also something of an athlete and regularly takes part in sports like snowboarding, tennis, football and volleyball. Reportedly, he also loves basketball! Prince Félix is married now with two beautiful children, Princess Amalia of Nassau and Prince Liam of Nassau. Guess he is taken too ladies!

    4 Sirivannavari Nariratana

It isn't enough that Sirivannavari Nariratana is a Thai Princess, but she's also a fashion designer. So she's really like a walking, talking Blair Waldorf! Born in Bangkok, Sirivannavari moved to England with her mother and brothers following her parents' divorce, but her father soon arranged for her to be brought back to Thailand, and her grandfather awarded her the title of Princess in 2005. From a young age, she expressed an interest in all things culture and art and soon turned to designing fashion pieces. She was invited to present her work in Paris by none other than Pierre Balmain back in 2007, and the collection she debuted was called Presence of the Past. The clothes were inspired by, you guessed it, her royal lineage, including memories she had of her grandmother and modern versions of traditional Thai costumes. Sirivannavari has since been given an invitation to present her own shows in Paris.

    3 Prince Amedeo

This guy is the epitome of the handsome stranger we all hope to meet when we go to Europe! Sixth in line to the throne of Belgium, Prince Amedeo is also the Archduke of Austria-Este, which doesn't really mean a whole lot to us, but we can tell that he's super-duper important. Like all good princes, after his schooling, Prince Amedeo enrolled at the Royal Military Academy in Belgium before attending the London School of Economics. He worked at the firm Deloitte as a business analyst in New York City for a while before moving on to becoming a management consultant and a research analyst. That goes to show that real princes could be lurking anywhere, even in jobs you'd think were for everyday people! Prince Amedeo wed Italian journalist Elisabetta Maria Rosboch von Wolkenstein in 2014, and it's been found that the two both descend from the same 17th-century Count.

    2 Princess Ameerah Al-Taweel

The title of the hottest royal lady on our list goes to Princess Ameerah Al-Taweel, who is essentially a real-life Princess Jasmine. Princess Ameerah is a Saudi Arabian Princess, who at the age of 33, is also a philanthropist with a strong voice and an interest in a number of charities. Projects she has founded and worked on have aimed to eradicate poverty, help disaster relief efforts, and help women to become empowered. Her charity efforts have taken her to more than 71 countries, where she has spoken about all of these issues and tried to raise awareness. In particular, she is passionate about women's rights in her country, including their right to drive, and is continuously fighting for them to have a place in society. Her amazing work aside, the girl has some of the most gorgeous features we've ever seen. Seriously, can we get the name of her eyebrow lady?

    1 Jean-Christophe, Prince Napoléon

It's Jean-Christophe's pure handsomeness that earned him the top male spot on our list, but he's also a royal with an ancestry that's considerably more interesting than some of the other monarchs we've talked about. Try to keep up here, but Jean-Christophe is actually the great-great-great-great-nephew of Emperor Napoleon l, of the House of Bonaparte. Everybody's heard of Napoleon Bonaparte. In addition to having a pretty exciting family background, Jean-Christophe is said to be quite intelligent and studied both math and economics in Paris. He keeps a low profile compared to some royals (which makes us like him even more!) but has reportedly worked for Morgan Stanley as a banking analyst in New York City, and Advent International in London as a private equity associate. He is also supposedly enrolled at Harvard in the Class of 2017, just in case anybody is around the area and looking to meet a prince.
