From unplanned n*p-slips to earnestly see-through clothes - tinsel town has stood witness to some of our favourite stars falling asleep on the job more often than not. Every alternate day, we have one actress or the other, either forgetting to put on their undies or being casually oblivious to their necklines sliding off before an overjoyed panel of the prying paparazzi. And this, being aided by all the stylists and designers in the world hopelessly failing to protect them from their wardrobe whoops are what, we daresay, headlines are made up of! A tonne of free publicity hardly harms, especially when there's a new film to promote or a latest product to launch.
Now, don't get us wrong here - we do love our silver screen beauties, admire and respect them - but we do also sometimes envy them! So, when a clothing mishap does happen, it's hard not to take it upon ourselves to revel - even if it is for a bit - in their misfortunes! When she stepped out in LA for a shopping run with her sister Kylie, Kendall Jenner chanced baring a bit too much in a dangerously low-cut black top. She completed the look with tight black trousers and a statement belt that accentuated her already tiny waist. However, the young supermodel handled the near wardrobe malfunction like a professional when her top slipped to one side. The dark-haired beauty quickly covered her modesty with her hands saving herself any embarrassment in front of the prying paparazzi. Other than that, she wore her long brown locks loose and protected her eyes from the sun behind a pair of chic, oversized aviator sunglasses. The 21-year-old model has made quite a name for herself in the fashion industry and has walked for some of the world's most renowned designers.

14 Mariah Carey
Mariah Carey's appearance on Good Morning America, caused enough jaws to drop when the star suffered a minor wardrobe malfunction on the GMA outdoor stage at Rumsey Playfield in New York City. But, it did not stop there, Carey also went on to curse live on television! Chatting with host Lara spencer, the singer began commenting on her glittering Donatella Versace gown before revealing that its back had completely split. “Oh shoot, now the back of my dress just popped,” she said nervously. Spencer ended up holding up the right strap of Carey's gown to prevent it from falling apart and rushed into calling for a commercial. When the 47-year-old returned, she was sporting a pink dress and involuntarily let out an “oh sh**t”, then quickly clarified, “You didn't hear that.”

When Elizabeth Olsen was facing photographers in Paris for the Miu Miu fragrance launch and croisier 2016 collection, she unintentionally flashed her undies as the dress she was wearing got unexpectedly blown up by the breeze. Despite the fact that the star was wearing quite a prim ensemble - a long-sleeved navy dress teamed with a ruffled white blouse - it failed to stand strong against the wind and gave the fortunate onlookers a prolonged peek at her nude skivvies. After her high-powered performance at the Tidal X concert in NYC last year, Beyoncé could be seen smiling ear-to-ear - and why not, she had at the end of the day, managed to wiggle out of what could have been a rather embarrassing malfunction! The Grey's Anatomy star was accepting the ShoWest award for Female Star of the Year in Las Vegas, when one of the straps of her red Donna Karan dress broke away, putting Katherine Heigl in a sticky spot. Shocked, the 38-year-old struggled to continue with her accepting speech but fortunately for her, the night's presenter, Billy Bush quickly came to her rescue by holding her strap in place while she went ahead with her discourse. Heigl later secured everything with a safety-pin. Access Hollywood host, Bush soon Twittered: “Oh My. Hosting showest awards in LV. Heigl comes up to get award, dress strap breaks… I hold her top while she accepts!” A representative for the actress also told UsMagazine.com: “She appreciated Billy's support.”
10 Bella Hadid
Supermodel Bella Hadid suffered a wardrobe malfunction yet again at the Cannes Film Festival this year. The incident comes just a year after Hadid set tabloids ablaze, strutting down the red carpet of the film gala in an astonishingly revealing red backless number, high-cut to the hip. This time, the catwalk icon flashed her undies and a great of flesh as she hit the opening night of the festival in a pale pink Alexandre Vauthier gown with a plunging sweetheart neckline. The stunner teamed the dress with a dramatic neckless while strappy jewelled white high heels completed the look. The 20-year-old couldn't care less as her dress fell open at the front to reveal her matching satin underpants, as she posed for the paparazzi.

More than being praised for the Tom Ford gown she wore to the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City for the premiere of Les Miserables, Anne Hathaway grabbed eyeballs for what happened just before she hit the red carpet. She had apparently decided on going commando but did not plan on giving the paparazzi an eyeful! Quite naturally, what ensued was a free-for-all. “I was getting out of the car, and my dress was so tight that I didn't realize it until I saw all the photographers' flashes,” she told Vanity Fair. “It was devastating. They saw everything. I might as well have lifted my skirt for them,” she added. Access Hollywood went on to describe how Hathaway was missing her unmentionables for the premiere while The International Business Times depicted her “accidentally flashing her nether regions”. All in all, it was a rather unpleasant experience for the star.

The Haute Couture gown seemed to literally rip apart from the seams, flashing the sheer lining holding the gown together. However, a spokesperson for Christian Dior Couture told HollywoodLife.com that it wasn't tear. “The dress is made with different levels of tulle and satin and that is what the viewers saw when Jennifer [Lawrence] lifted her dress slightly. It was not ripped and there was no malfunction… it was the design of the gown,” the representative explained.
