20 Gay Men That Most Women Still Fantasize About Pt. 2

Happy Pride Month, everybody! In honour of this special distinction for the month of June, we've come out with a second edition of 20 gay men that most ladies still fantasize about. (You can find Part 1 elsewhere on our website.)

When it comes to hot guys in Hollywood, we're offered a veritable buffet of dudes to choose from (hypothetically, of course), with enough diversity to appeal to all our tastes. Even though we know we're not likely to ever get with them, we can still look and fantasize, right? For these guys, even if we did run into a bit of luck that would allow us to meet them in real life, there's still nothing we could do about it, because these men just aren't that into us! (Or any women, for that matter.)

However, while we can't touch, we can definitely look - and then some. These gorgeous guys may not be as well known to some of you (or to those compared in Part 1), but we bet you'll be giving them a Google now that we've opened your eyes to their hotness. Gorgeous and ungettable, they are a potent mixture that we simply can't turn away from.

    20 Chris Salvatore

Chris Salvatore is WORKING that lumbersexual look! With his full beard and perfectly coiffed hair, we totally get why this photo might be mistaken for being an advert for hipster models, but nope, it's just Salvatore, actor, model, singer, and gay rights activist hanging out and looking his sexy, sexy self!

If his name doesn't sound familiar to you (and to be honest, we didn't really know who he was before this), you might remember him for solidifying his status as a nice guy earlier this year. Living across the hall from his 89-year-old neighbor Norma Cook, Salvatore moved in with the octogenarian to help her out as her primary caretaker, along with nurses and doctors. The unlikely duo became best friends until Cook's death on February 15. If that doesn't make you swoon, then we suggest checking out any of his Instagram shots, where you'll alternate between cute candid shots with family and his dog, and steamy shirtless pics. We can't decide which is our favourite!

    19 Lance Bass

Okay, we know that almost everyone who was a fan of NSYNC as a kid had the hots for Justin Timberlake, with JC Chasez coming in a close second, but there were still a bunch of us who fangirled over Lance Bass - and he looks even better now without those frosted tips and ridiculous coordinated boy band styles! Now, with the help of a more grown-up wardrobe and a little bit of scruff, Lance is looking ~fire~!

Being in a boy band wasn't the greatest for Bass on his journey to coming out publicly, and it wasn't until 2006 after much media speculation that he admitted in a cover story with People that he was in fact gay. It was a huge weight off of Bass' shoulders, though, and as he told the magazine, “I'm more liberated and happy than I've been in my whole life.”

Bass also got his happy ending and married his partner, painter Michael Turchin in December 2014. The couple became the first same-sex couple to exchange vows on cable TV!

    18 Duncan James

Unless you're across the pond, you might not be as familiar with Duncan James, another ex-boy band member of the English band Blue in the early 2000s. While he fell victim to the early aughts fashions that we all did (think over-the-top spray tans, gelled hair, and shell necklaces), James has grown into a bonafide hottie who ditched the spiked tips for a more coiffed approach to his hair.

Like other famous gay men in the spotlight, James' coming out was a slow one. Initially, James described himself as bisexual in an interview, an admission that made sense owing to the fact that he had a daughter with an ex-girlfriend. However, by 2012, James identified as gay… sort of. In separate interviews in 2012 and 2014, James admitted that, while he still enjoys sleeping with women, he identifies as a gay man, simply because he engages in relations with men. Gender fluid, bisexual, or gay, at least we can all agree that James is looking fine!

    17 Andy Cohen

Anderson Cooper gets all the credit for being the silver fox and television personality, but we've gotta give some credit to Andy Cohen, who is working that salt-and-pepper hair!

Cohen is the first openly gay host of an American late-night talk show with his hilarious Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and - fun fact - he actually used this show to admit that he had slept with another hottie on this list in the past! (It was Lance Bass, if you were wondering.)

While Cohen is open about his sexuality, he still prefers to keep some elements of his personal life under wraps, although he did acknowledge that his coming out at 22 was a fraught time, owing to the fact that it was in the '80s and homophobia was rampant and casual. Fortunately, Cohen is doing his part for gay representation (while also situating himself as kind of the ideal GBF), and is using his influence to bring gay singles into his newest foray into entertainment: the reboot of game show Love Connection!

    16 Charlie Carver

If you're a big TV buff, you've probably caught 28-year-old Charlie Carver on your small screen in shows like Desperate Housewives, Teen Wolf, and The Leftovers. And, if you have, you've likely been eyeballing this adorable guy for quite a while!

Doing what most young people do, Carver decided to come out via social media in a heartfelt Instagram post that expressed his initial fear over coming out and being typecast as a gay actor. However, in the same post - which spans three parts - Carver acknowledged that the industry was changing and that he has played both gay and straight characters. Adding another layer of complexity, Carver's late father was gay, which led the young man to want to distance himself, so as to not be like him. This story has a happy ending (or beginning), in that the two reconciled before his father's death, and Carver is happily out, even appearing in a docudrama production that covered the Stonewall Riots. Oh, and ladies, he does have an identical twin who happens to be straight!

    15 Miles Heizer

You probably recognize Miles Heizer from the role that catapulted him to fame among the teen set, as Alex Standall in the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why. While Alex in the show got around with the ladies, Heizer is definitely more into the Y-chromosome.

While Heizer has not publicly spoken out about his sexuality, many have speculated that the 23-year-old actor is gay, largely owing to a series of cute photos posted on Instagram with his 13 Reasons Why costar Brandon Flynn, who played troubled and troubling Justin Foley. In the images, Flynn and Heizer are shown to be kissing each other and cuddling up, both alone and with costars, but, in a move that dashed the hopes of those who shipped this relationship, Heizer's rep told press that the two are just platonic friends. Despite this, we think the evidence is strongly to the contrary, and that the two are just playing coy while their stars start to rise. Either way, we can't deny that Heizer is a bespectacled cutie worth daydreaming about!

    14 Adamo Ruggiero

He played a guy who struggled with his sexuality on the TV show Degrassi: The Next Generation, but Adamo Ruggiero was drawing on real life when he played the troubled Marco Del Rossi, who is eventually welcomed by his friends as himself. The 30-year-old became a regular character on the show in 2003, but it wasn't until 2008 that Ruggiero came out. Like his character, Ruggiero came from a traditional Italian family but “they aren't so traditional that me being gay was a deal-breaker.”

While Ruggiero has embraced his sexuality since coming out (he even came out in an interview on TV), he still keeps his personal life under wraps. We know that anyone would be lucky to be on the arm of this dark-haired, dark-eyed cutie, but, since finishing his stint as a child star and winding down his acting credits, we totally appreciate why he'd want to keep his love life all to himself.

    13 B.D. Wong

If B.D. Wong looks like a Disney Prince, it might be because he actually voiced one! In addition to lending his vocal talents to Li Shang in Mulan, Wong has also earned notable recognition through his work in TV, film, and on stage! So, while his name might not ring a bell, now you can finally remember who the sexy guy was in Jurassic Park and Jurassic World.

Can we also just take a moment to appreciate the genes this guy has? The dude is 56 and looks absolutely phenomenal! Throughout his tenure in Hollywood, Wong hasn't shied away from discussing or being open about his sexuality. From 1988 to 2004, he was in a relationship with talent agent Richie Jackson, and in 2000, the two had twin boys, one of whom tragically died shortly after birth. Despite that painful chapter, the former couple manages to coparent their son happily. For his part, Wong has also contributed his time and resources to LGBT and arts-related charities, making this gorgeous guy just as beautiful outside as in.

    12 Michael Stipe

This might be dating us a bit, but for any of the ladies who grew up in the '90s or really got into the alternative grunge scene during their angsty teen years, Michael Stipe was the kind of intellectual, peace-keeping hottie than resonated with a lot of young women. With his scruffy beard, melodic voice, and beautiful baby blues, Stipe was just getting more recognition as the lead singer of R.E.M when rumours began to circulate that he had contracted HIV, owing to his thin frame and “unpronounced sexuality”.

By 1994, with questions still abounding, Stipe said he didn't identify as any one orientation, but that he was attracted to both men and women. By 1995, he described himself as a “queer artist”, a distinction he used again in 2004. We are certainly not in the position to ascribe a label to someone we don't know, and although he's on our list of hot gay men, we do want to acknowledge that, by his own admission, Stipe considers himself queer.

    11 Brandon Flynn

You must've known he'd pop up here after we mentioned his maybe-maybe not relationship with Miles Heizer! While he played the pot-smoking, moody, playboy athlete Justin Foley in 13 Reasons Why, Brandon Flynn's actual sexuality is a little less obvious.

Although a rep for Heizer said publicly that the two were only close friends and not involved as a couple back in April, in May, the two actors appeared in a short film that showed them kissing. The film was later shown at the Outfest Fusion Film Festival. Again, we don't want to assume, but the evidence does strongly suggest that these two gorgeous guys are involved, because the chemistry between them in that split-second video is more palpable than the relationships between them and their female costars in the Netflix series. If this turns out to be the case down the line, then we can't wait, because we've already been rooting for them from the start!

    10 Guillermo Diaz

With a physique and manner that makes you want to just go in for a big bear hug with him, Guillermo Diaz left a lot of ladies in the lurch when they learned that the actor was gay - although he's been out for the entirety of his career! This shy guy has said that growing up in the Bronx in New York gave him the gravitas and tough-guy exterior that has coloured much of his acting credits, since he was trying to protect himself from teasing and ridicule.

The Scandal actor still manages to shock a lot of people who had no idea that he was gay - and be honest, did you? Since he's admitted to being shy, but with a burly look that gets the ladies all hot and bothered, we're jealous that only guys will get to have all the fun with this one! However, if you find yourself still thirsty for some more Guillermo Diaz, you can find a full-frontal nude photo of him in the pages of Pinups magazine!

    9 Scott Evans

His brother may be Captain America, but Scott Evans has a clean-cut, all-American look that he kills all on his own! He's certainly not as recognizable as older brother Chris, but Evans has amassed a fair amount of acting credits, specifically on TV shows, including soap opera One Life to Live. While Chris gets the credit and is a Marvel superhero, Evans has shown that he's a bit more rough around the edges - and what woman doesn't love a little bit of a bad boy? In 2013, the actor was arrested after trying to buy cocaine from an undercover cop!

Another thing that links the Evans brothers in a pretty crazy way: Chris ended up outing his little bro back in 2009! In an interview with The Advocate, a gay-centric publication, Chris ended up publicly outing Evans by accident, but it turns out that he was kind of okay with it! Hey, what are big brothers for, right?

    8 Andrew Rannells

You probably recognize Andrew Rannells as being the blunt, b*tchy gay best friend and ex-boyfriend with the good hair to Lena Dunham's character in Girls, which is why we bet you also undoubtedly already noticed his chiseled body when he parades himself around in tiny briefs in his multiple shirtless scenes!

The six-foot-one hottie has been openly gay throughout his career, and came out to his family at the age of 18 - although they told him that they had already figured it out. He sings and acts, and was the originator of the main role in the musical The Book of Mormon, and his talents actually allowed him to take over for another gorgeous guy on this list in the Broadway production of Hamilton! Since 2011, Rannells has shared his awesomeness with actor Mike Doyle, and the two give us major real estate envy with an apartment in NYC and a house in LA!

    7 Nate Berkus

What's better than a dude who can organize and decorate your home while looking like a major-league babe doing it? Nothing really, in our books, which is why Nate Berkus is ranked so high on our list!

Although Berkus has been openly gay throughout his career, it hasn't been without its upsets. In 2004, Berkus was vacationing with his then-partner in Sri Lanka when the 2004 tsunami hit. While Berkus survived, his partner went missing and was presumed dead. It wasn't until 2012 that Berkus began dating someone seriously again, this time a fellow interior designer, whom he wed in 2014, and later had a daughter with. Their first family photos are gorgeous, with both photogenic men looking overjoyed to be holding their baby girl. Clearly, other media outlets saw a chance to capitalize on this gorgeous twosome, and both men were featured in a Banana Republic ad that was published in Rolling Stone, and other magazines, becoming the first advertisement featuring a same-sex couple to be printed in these publications.

    6 Michael Sam

It's pretty rare for a gay athlete to be open about his sexuality, but that is exactly what football player Michael Sam did when he became the first openly gay player in NFL history. While Sam found that his teammates were supportive of him, others were not quite so welcoming: after returning to Missouri to accept a championship trophy, Sam was met with about 15 protestors from the Westboro Baptist Church. Again, his classmates rallied behind him and counter-protested in the thousands, forming a human wall that protected Sam from their hatred.

Upon being drafted by the St. Louis Rams in 2014, Sam made headlines again for kissing his boyfriend on TV in celebration, and it seems that his sexuality has gotten him more press than his abilities. After being dropped by the Rams and waived by the Dallas Cowboys, Sam joined (and left) the Montreal Alouettes, becoming the first openly gay player of the CFL. At least we'll always have his burly body to look at!

    5 Kyle Dean Massey

With that killer smile and those laughing eyes, Kyle Dean Massey has no trouble winning over the hearts of men and women alike but, unfortunately for us ladies, he prefers the former over the latter. Another gay actor whose biggest current role reflects his own sexuality, Massey plays openly gay country musician Kevin Bicks on Nashville!

Massey is undeniably gorgeous, but, to the despair of men (and women) everywhere, he's no longer a free agent: he married fellow actor Taylor Frey in a beautiful ceremony back in October! Unlike many other actors, Massey never had a public coming out moment, since he was openly gay at the beginning of his career. A supporter of the It Gets Better Project, which aims to prevent suicide among LGBT youth through the intervention of adults who can inform them that their life gets better after school, Massey has proven that his inside is just as gorgeous as his impeccable outside.

    4 Jonathan Groff

Remember when we mentioned that Andrew Rannells had taken over for another actor in the Broadway production of Hamilton? Well, this is who he subbed in for! Not bad, eh? Like B.D. Wong before him, Jonathan Groff also lent his voice to an unlikely Disney Prince: Kristoff in Frozen!

Another entry who got his start in singing and acting on stage, Groff has also been on TV, notably in the HBO series Looking, which details the lives of a group of gay friends. While his artistic endeavours led to much speculation about his personal life, it wasn't until 2009 that Groff publicly came out, fittingly during the National Equality March in Washington. Since then, he has been named one of the 100 most compelling LGBT people in 2013 and 2014, named Grand Marshal in the New York City Pride Parade in 2014, and awarded at two separate events in 2015 for doing his part “to ensure that the LGBT community will be visible, accepted, and celebrated in our society.”

    3 Brad Goreski

We'll give you a moment to soak in all the steamy goodness that is in this photo.

    Okay, all done?

As you can see, fashion stylist and TV personality Brad Goreski is so good-looking, it should be illegal, and even without his trademark thick-framed glasses, there's no mistaking who that killer jawline belongs to. Goreski has a whole host of A-list clients, including Jessica Alba, Christina Ricci, and Rashida Jones, and he's just as famous for his own notable look, which is usually made up of bow ties and bright suits, lending him a nice, dapper appeal.

In regards to his personal life, Canadian-born Goreski has been attached for a long time, getting engaged to his partner of 13 years back in 2014 (the two have not yet married), and dividing his time between New York City and Los Angeles. Seriously gorgeous, we know that his fiancé is aware of exactly how lucky he is, which is why he's been involved with the handsome stylist for so long. And who can blame him?

    2 Jussie Smollett

A triple threat of acting, singing, and photography, Empire's Jussie Smollett began to work his gorgeous face from an early age as a child actor. And clearly, it's been able to carry him far! (Well, that and his incredible acting skills!)

In his role as Jamal Lyon, Smollett was able to bring a dose of realism to the role, since Jamal is a gay musician who struggles to earn his father's approval. In his own life, Smollett identifies as gay, but acknowledged that he is more sexually fluid. In a 2016 interview with Out magazine, Smollett explained that while he would label himself as a gay man, he believes that love is about more than gender, and that falling in love with a woman down the road isn't out of the question for him. Smollett's sexual fluidity was reflected in Jamal's journey, who was briefly involved with a woman - something Smollett defended, and explained was based on his own experiences and beliefs.

    1 Nyle DiMarco

It's pretty obvious to see why we chose Nyle DiMarco to be our number one hottie, no? With his chiseled features, Adonis body, and penetrating eyes, how could we resist? In addition to identifying as sexually fluid (which we think is an important distinction to make), DiMarco is also a deaf activist. As the second male winner of America's Next Top Model, first deaf winner of the show, and first deaf winner of Dancing with the Stars, DiMarco has used his fame for good, while also giving us all ample opportunity to ogle his hotness.

Outspoken about his personal life, DiMarco identified as sexually fluid in an interview with Out magazine, and has been vocal about his belief that deaf roles in film and TV should be played by deaf actors, in order to prevent marginalizing the community even further. A heart of gold with abs of steel, we know that you'll be dreaming about DiMarco tonight!
