Which Game of Thrones Character You Are, Based On Your Zodiac Sign

Rejoice! Winter is here and so is the return of the new season of Game of Thrones. This show has broken records with its popularity on HBO and we are saddened that we are winding down to the final episodes. Part of what makes this show so popular aside from the beautifully designed scenery and incredible writing is its character development. They are honored and flawed at the same time reflecting the duality of humanity. Tyrion, Arya and Daenerys all possess qualities that are both commendable and destructive all at the same time. Even Queen Cersei has some redeeming qualities about her even is she is the villain.

As we get to know these characters, we see little bit of ourselves in each of them. Some of the main characters even embody the traits of certain zodiac signs. While we are watching this brand new season, check out which character you can relate to based on your zodiac sign. Don't worry, no one will have to bear the burden of being pegged the same sign as Ramsay Bolton or King Joffrey.

12 Aries - Arya Stark

Like Arya, you give zero sh*ts about what other people think of you. You are a fighter, a warrior and were probably a tomboy when you were a kid (you still might be). Aries people have a survivor mentality and are not ones to just sit there and feel sorry for themselves. When it comes to "fight or flight", they will always choose to fight because they never give up. Arya has been put into the ringer so many times and has never been a victim. Tough as nails and willing to dive headfirst into battle defines the bravery of an Aries. Since you are the sign of war, you can be confrontational and unyielding to the other side. This can get you into trouble. Arya is an independent character that lives up to the conqueror mentality that an Aries possesses.

11 Taurus - Oberyn Martell

Taurus people take in all of life's pleasures sometimes to the point where they can be over-indulgent. As the youngest brother of Prince Doran Martell, Oberyn just likes to quietly wait to take his turn at power. He is a patient character and waits his turn before striking. Since bulls tend to move at a slow and steady pace, their plans are often collective and not rushed (unlike, say an Aries). But when it's time to fight, it's time to fight. Those born under Taurus will not start any fights, but they have no problem finishing them. To avenge his sister's death, he got into a battle with Gregor Clegane as he gradually moved picking up his pace. Though that backfired on him, he was like a bull chasing the red flag.

10 Gemini - Littlefinger

Littlefinger knows how to work all sides of the kingdom in his favor. Like a typical Gemini, he is a master manipulator but a talented conversationalist. Geminis use the power of persuasion to get people to side with them. They know how to network and build alliances which is what Westeros needs. Littlefinger likes to tell those in high power what they want to hear or what they don't want to hear in order to push their buttons and make decisions that will favor him. Geminis are sneaky in that way. They wear two faces and can decide on a whim which one they want to show in order to impress a certain personality. They navigate the social scene with ease and are masters at making connections.

9 Cancer - Margaery Tyrell

Cancers are caring and nurturing but they like to be in charge at the same time. When it comes to their people skills, they use a soft approach. They come off as warm and welcoming. That is of course, until you piss them off. Family is the most important to them more than any other value. To Margaery Tyrell, there was nothing more crucial than maintaining her  house's name and sustaining the Tyrell name. She even went so far as to marry the young children of the Lannister household. She is passionate about helping the poor and granting a vast amount of charity to those less fortunate. As a Cancer, she has a fiercely protective side. If anyone messes with her king or family members, all hell breaks loose.

8 Leo - Jaime Lannister

Leos are dashing and enter the room with a bold charisma that everyone can't help but notice. Jaime appears as the knight in shining armor all throughout the entire series (even if his morality or intentions are questionable). Full of pride, he refuses to admit the incestuous relationship he has with his sister because he wants to maintain his regal reputation. Leos love the spotlight but they are good at hiding that fact. Jaime is often seen adorned as the hero riding on the horse to either save the day or f*** sh*t up. Either way, he is handsome and electrifying in his presence. No matter how many sins he has committed, you can't help but forgive him. It is hard to stay mad at Leos.

7 Virgo - Cersei Lannister

The earth sign of the mother is none other than Queen Cersei. Her entire life revolves around her children. Virgos often find themselves making sacrifices for their children. Cersei is willing to start wars out of that love. She is also very conniving and uses certain details to cover up the bigger picture. Cersei knows how to present herself as a someone who can rule the kingdom but internally, she is a mess. As the series progresses, tragedies happen in her life. Rather than letting her emotions get in the way, she just keeps on keeping on. Virgos are "doers" and take matters into their own hands. Cersei has been a villainous character, but she knows how to navigate Westeros.

6 Libra - Tyrion Lannister

Tyrion has a sharp sense of what is right and wrong. Libras always strive to maintain balance just as Tyrion does for the Kingdom of Westeros. He knows that the one to sit on the Irone Throne has a grave responsibility and tries to keep them in line. This is the exact reason he makes a perfect right hand man for whoever is in charge. He never seems to lose any of his dignity in the face of adversity even when he was on trial and potentially awaiting death. Libras have charisma and Tyrion is arguably one of the most adored characters on the entire show. He knows how to delegate his household and adapt to those who don't necessarily share the same opinions as he does. What he lacks in height, me makes up for in character.

5 Scorpio - Melisandre

Melisandre is dark yet sexy at the same time. Her main role is as a sorceress is to summon the dead and to bring them into life on this earth. Scorpios aren't afraid to explore the dark world or the occult. In this modern day and age, Scorpios are often looked at in fear or dismay. Luckily for the Red Woman, she fits right in with the Baratheon army fighting on their side. She is often seen as the seductress and using her sexuality for her own agenda (or sometimes just for no reason at all). Her striking features and red attire are enough to turn heads amidst the darkness. Yet, she is a very subtle character and soft-spoken. Scorpios tend not to be the loudest person in the room, but they still stand out with their intoxicating presence. The Red Woman has been the mascot for the Baratheon army and without her magical powers, they would be lost.

4 Sagittarius - Daenerys Targaryen

No one has roamed around Westeros to faraway lands more so than Daenerys Targaryen. Though many armies in the kingdom have had to move around, it seem that Daenerys is constantly in exile or having to relocate. Sagittarians live for traveling and can never stay in one place for too long. They are experts at navigating where to go to next even if there is no plan in mind. While others get intimidated at the uncertainty, Sagittarians step up to the plate and are down for the challenge. Daenerys has built an army after having been traveling around Westeros and now she is ready to take back what is hers: the Iron Throne. Sagittarians are very ambitious but they also have good fortune on their side.

3 Capricorn - Jon Snow

Capricorns are introverted on the surface, but conquerors underneath. It is never a good idea to underestimate a Capricorn. Jon Snow has been the underdog of the series but through hard work and determination, he has stuck it out and risen in the ranks of the Knight's Watch. Now he is the King of the North after no one ever thought it was possible for a bastard. Though Capricorns are often successful, they have to endure a lot of hardship to get where they are at. Jon Snow has proven himself a true leader and protagonist on this series and viewers can't help but respect him for all that he has been through. He is a fan favorite because everyone is always rooting for him to prevail. Capricorns are the goats who climb the highest mountain or will die trying.

2 Aquarius - Ned Stark

Opinionated and outspoken, Aquarius people have a strong sense of ethics and morality. They can be disagreeable and have no problem speaking out if they don't think something is aligned with their values. Like Ned Stark, he is unyielding to the opinions of others but was the master at teaching good morals to those who followed him. Unfortunately for him (and my other Aquarians), this got him in serious trouble and cost him his head. Ned Stark is still spoken about often on the series as someone to look up to in terms of leadership. Aquarians are revolutionaries and get a kick out of overthrowing corrupted establishments. This does oftentimes get them in dire consequences. Nevertheless, their legacy lives on because they gain a large following of other rebels.

1 Pisces - Sansa Stark

Sansa Stark is the epitome of femininity and beauty on the series. Pisces can go with the flow and float between different groups of people seamlessly. Sansa has survived a long stint with the Lannisters, married off twice and has managed to escape as a survivor. Pisces have innate senses of how to read people and outmaneuver them if they feel as though they are in danger. Though Sansa isn't exactly a warrior on the front lines like Arya, she knows exactly what to say and feign passivity in order to get to the next level. Pisces people are the ones who like to work behind the scenes. It will be interesting to see how this season plays out for her and whose side she will be on.
