12 Reality Stars Who Make The Rich Kids Of Beverley Hills Look Poor

Ever since the Rich Kids of Beverly Hills flashing their wealth, all inherited of course, in our faces after the first episode aired in 2014, we have been following this group of twenty-something heirs with quite some envy. With season four due to launch in April this year, we need to prepare for more displays of excess spending and flaunting.

But just how rich are these #RichKids? The bottom three earners are 27-year-old Roxy Sowalty who has a net worth of $100,000 since her father, Sam Sowalty owner of a printing company, famously cut her off so she could pay her own way. 25-year-old Brenden Fitzpatrick works as a broker for a firm called The Agency which has created him a net worth of $500,000. Then there's 25-year-old Jonny Durbel who is trying to carve himself out a singing career and is currently worth $800,000, he claims, "I'm very East Coast. We kind of go by the rule, 'If you have money, don't talk about it.'"

Moving up the ranks is 23-year-old E.J. Johnson, the flamboyant son of Magic Johnson who has a net worth of $2.5 million (a minor cut of his father's $500 million net worth). Then 27-year-old Morgan Stewart, daughter of developer Herb Stewart who is the king of rodeo drive, her worth is $5 million. Top of the list is 28-year-old Dorothy Wang with a net worth of $10 million thanks to her father being the 557th richest person in the world.

None of these stars are struggling, but compared to these following reality stars who are really raking it in, they look practically broke.

    12 Maddie Ziegler - $2 million

Roxy, Brenden and Johnny will not be happy to hear that as much as they brag about their own wealth -  Dance Moms and Chandelier star, Maddie Ziegler, is worth $2 million (yes - that's more than all three of them put together) and she has only recently turned 13-years-old.

Maddie, who was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, became an overnight success with her hypnotic dancing skills on Dance Moms, which she first appeared on five years ago, alongside her mother Melissa and younger sister, Mackenzie. She then hit the big time when singer Sia, who fell in love with the show, asked her to star in a music video for her single Chandelier, which is now the 15th most viewed music video of all time on YouTube with nearly 1.2 billion hits.

Maddie has 5.2 million Instagram followers and very recently joined the So You Think You Can Dance show as a judge - and she's only just become an official teenager.

    11 NeNe Leakes - $12 million

NeNe Leakes is reality television gold and the producers of The Real Housewives of Atlanta know it - placing her on a salary of $1 million per season. The fan favourite knew how to push people's buttons and work the camera all the way to a staggering salary because she knows the show would not have been the same without her.

The 48-year-old star, whose real name is Linnethia, has moved on after her eight years on the show. She landed a recurring role as character Roz Washington on Glee, she also played Rocky Rhoades on the award-winning sitcom The New Normal and she is one of the main judges on ABC's revival of the 50s game show To Tell The Truth along with Betty White. She also works as a special co-host on E!'s Fashion Police. She is the TV personality. Even Oprah Winfrey had better watch out as she has her mind set on taking over and running her own channel.

The Rich Kids could learn from NeNe and maybe they will be able to start demanding $1 million a season salaries too.

    10 Pauly D - $15 million

He might not have the style or the class of the Rich Kids but he certainly has more money in the bank than them. Paul "Pauly D" DelVecchio was a star housemate on MTV's Jersey Shore, which ran for six seasons. In August 2011, he landed a three-album deal with 50 Cent's G-Unit Records and also became the first cast member of Jersey Shore to get his own spin-off show, The Pauly D Project.

Forbes magazine claimed that in 2012, when the world was talking about Pauly D and his signature haircut, he earned $11 million from DJ guest spots. This put him in the position of 7th highest paid DJ in the world. Unfortunately, his spin off show was a flop and he became involved in a bitter custody battle over his daughter, which slowly put an end to his time in the public eye.

However, the 35-year-old is still promoting his DJ gigs on Twitter and if he invested his money properly he should be set for life.

    9 Kandi Burruss - $35 million

Kandi Burruss not only has triple the amount of money the Rich Kids do, but she also has a ton of talent. The 39-year-old singer-writer helped Destiny's Child write and produce their second album The Writing's On The Wall, and contributed tracks: Bug-A-Boo, Bills, Bills, Bills, So Good, Hey Ladies and She Can't Love You. Not to mention she also wrote the Grammy-award-winning song No Scrubs for girl band TLC. Her fortune has mostly come from receiving royalties for these hit singles. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star has just recently given birth to a baby boy named Tucker.

    8 Camille Grammer - $50 million

Camille Grammer is best known for her role in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As she's just around the corner from the Rich Kids cast members she could swap a few tips on how to get rich. Even though her tip would just be: marry well.

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2012, her ex-husband, Frasier star Kelsey Grammer, revealed all about his divorce. He claimed he was trapped in the marriage, which lasted between 1997 and 2011, because he was "stubborn" but it was "pretty much over as soon as it began" and that she had "always wanted to be famous." Perhaps his comments came out of anger as this was the same year divorce lawyers awarded Camille $30 million after they ended their 13-year long marriage.

Morgan Stewart is most likely to head in the same direction as Camille, she takes after her own mother, Susan Stewart, and doesn't work. Morgan told E! News, her mother's full-time job is putting up with her on a daily basis.

    7  Lisa Vanderpump - $65 million

Lisa Vanderpump is another Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star who lives just around the corner and has a net worth of ten times more than the rich kids. The London-born businesswoman earned her staggering wealth through co-owning restaurants with her husband of thirty years, Ken Todd. Together they have a total of 26 restaurants between London and Los Angeles, with their prize gems being the Villa Blanca, which is known as the sexiest restaurant in Beverly Hills and Pump.

She also makes her money from writing a book titled: Simply Divine: A Guide to Easy, Elegant, and Affordable Entertaining and she is a contributing writer and editor for Beverly Hills Lifestyle magazine. In 2014, she released her own line of homewares called The Vanderpump Beverly Hills collection.

Roxy Sowalty should get some designer tips from Lisa. She has started running her own luxury interior design brand under her own name as a way to get some cash, since her rich parents famously cut her off in season one.

    6 Johnny Knoxville - $75 million

44-year-old Johnny Knoxville has been a huge name since reality series and prank show Jackass first launched onto our screens in 2000. Knoxville has since landed acting roles in films like Men in Black II, The Dukes of Hazzard, Bad Grandpa, and The Last Stand, and he even voiced Leonardo in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Alongside owning the Jackass franchise and his fee per movie standing at a cool $5 million, he has managed to earn himself a fortune of $75 million. Although the Rich Kids probably won't want to ride a shopping cart down a hill into a wall, they could take a page out of his book when it comes to networking. Knoxville rubs shoulders with best friend Brad Pitt often and he most likely helped him break into the movies. After all it's who you know not what you know.

    5 Kim Kardashian - $85 million

You have to hand it to Kim Kardashian, she is one reality star who knows how to make money and she has net worth the Rich Kids could only dream of. From earning $10,000 for a single tweet promoting a brand to literally branding anything she can get her hands on - there's no denying she is a money making queen.

Her biggest money-spinner has been her game, Kim Kardashian Hollywood, which has become one of the highest earning mobile games around with a revenue of $200 million to date.

Dorothy Wang is getting in on the branding trend, with her own like of necklaces available to buy and pink rose champagne called Rich and Bubby with her initials on the bottle. She needs to grab a coffee with a Kardashian and ask more tricks of the trade as there is plenty of money to be made.

    4  Caitlyn Jenner - $100 million

Caitlyn Jenner has been an Olympian athlete, a race car driver and a reality TV star. What many people do not know about is that she's richer than not just the Rich Kids themselves but also any of the other Kardashians. What you didn't think Kris Jenner would stay married to someone who wasn't pulling in the big bucks did you?

Jenner has her own company under her former name, Bruce Jenner Aviation, which sells aircraft supplies to executives and corporations. She is also the business development vice president for a staffing industry software application known as JennerNet. These are both huge companies that turn over millions but we are most familiar with her bickering on the show with other family members.

EJ Johnson's dad, Earvin "Magic" Johnson is also an athlete turned entrepreneur. The former Los Angeles Lakers star, who is considered one of the greatest basketball players of all time, now runs the Magic Johnson Enterprises which invest in a wide range of movie theaters, restaurants and sports team. Proving there is money to be made off the court too.

    3 Paris Hilton - $100 million

Paris Hilton and Dorothy Wang have been photographed together at many glitzy celebrity bashes in Beverly Hills and it's no wonder who is more likely to pick up the cocktail bill. Paris was the pioneer of the "famous for being famous" when she and frenemy Nicole Ritchie appeared on the reality series The Simple Life. Her inherited wealth and lifestyle, not to mention the carefully constructed bimbo-persona, made her a tabloid favourite and between the years of 2000-2005, before the Kardashian family came on the scene, you could not go anywhere without hearing about Hilton.

First and foremost, Paris is a genius businesswoman. She used the media attention to launch fashion lines and a perfume brand. Her fragrance line alone has grossed over $1.5 billion to date and there are 44 Paris Hilton stores in the world. She can also command between $25,000 - $100,000 for one of her DJ/hosting gigs in super clubs around the world. She told The Daily Mail newspaper that her "party girl" lifestyle was just an image she played up to. She revealed, "My twenties were crazy and I did overplay the nights out and the reputation came with it. But the truth is I always looked up to people like Oprah Winfrey and Martha Stewart - women who created amazing brands and worked their a**** off."

Paris has had to work hard in business after it was revealed her in 2007 that her reported $60 million inheritance would go to charity, after her grandfather pledged 97 percent of his $2.3 billion fortune to various good causes. Dorothy Wang is due a fortune in inheritance as her father Roger Wang, chairman of Golden Eagle Retail Group Limited which owns retail stores in 17 cities in China, has a net worth of $3.8 billion.

    2 Jessica Simpson - $150 million

In 2003, Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica burst onto our screens and another celeb who won our hearts by playing the airhead card was Jessica Simpson herself. Well, she has managed to get the last laugh as she is now worth a whopping $150 million. So with a flop music and movie career under her belt - how did she do it?

In 2006, shortly after divorcing Nick Lachey, she launched the Jessica Simpson Collection - a brand which turns over one billion a year making it the highest earning celebrity brand. Her designs are available in 650 department stores across America, including Macy's and Dillard's. She told the Forbes Power Summit the key to her success is that she "understands women." She added, "When I'm in approval or inspiration meetings, I think of what I want my Nana to wear, and what my 2-year-old daughter Maxwell would look adorable in."

    1 Gordon Ramsey - $118 million

The ultimate reality star who had a real rag-to-riches story is Scottish-born Gordan Ramsey. His shows Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, Masterchef and Hotel Hell boosted his earnings to $60 million in 2015 alone. Forbes placed him as the 21st highest earning celebrity for that year. He owns fifteen restaurants and his signature restaurant, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea, London, has 3 Michelin stars.

His foul-mouthed rants on his reality shows earned him worldwide notoriety as man who should not be messed with. Unlikes the rich kids, Gordon was bought up from nothing, he had a turbulent childhood and has previously said his father was a violent alcoholic. Ramsay proudly claims, "I started with nothing, and was dealt a bit of a dysfunctional card, I shouldn't have made it this far."

The hard work Ramsey puts in should be an inspiration for the Rich Kids - but they probably won't be rushing into work anytime soon.
