The time for candy, pumpkins, and dressing up is here! It's almost Halloween! That means that you have less than a month to come up with a costume to wow everyone at your parties! Sometimes some Halloween parties will have a requirement that you and your man's costume go together! This can be frustrating, as sometimes you and your partner will not see eye-to-eye on what to wear. You want to be a Disney princess and him to be your prince, and he is strongly opposed to that idea. You could make it boring and go as salt and pepper by wearing white and black, but what fun is that? 15 Han Solo and Princess Leia

Making a costume can be as simple as raiding your closets! A great costume that always gets a lot of smiles is Han Solo and Princess Leia, a classic pair that fought side by side and won over many sci-fi hearts. With this costume, if you are determined to wear a dress, this is the couple costume for you! You can still convince your man to dress up because let's be honest, what guy doesn't want to be Han Solo? Simply find your man a white t-shirt, some black pants, a white belt, and a black vest and voila! You have a Han Solo! It would even be better if you find yourself some straps that you can use as gun holders. For yourself, put your hair in some buns, grab a gun, and get a long flowing white dress with some crazy long sleeves! For the Sheldon costume, you need the red Flash shirt with a grey or black long-sleeved underneath and simply wear some tan pants. For Amy, you can get a bit more creative as you will probably find it difficult to find the exact outfits she wears. For Ken and Barbie, once you are all dolled up, you just need to be put into your box! Cut out a large hole in one side of the box for your window. Then you can color or paint the box pink and print out some large Barbie and Ken logos to attach to your box (or if you are feeling creative, grab some extra cardboard and stencil and cut out the logo to attach). Make sure you both have similar white runners on as well and then print out some easy nametags with bar codes for your prison IDs. If you are Piper, straighten your hair and wear very simple makeup. For Alex, find some black-framed glasses and give your hair some slight curls. You can choose any era of clothing for this costume; a good choice is the Victorian era. Go to your thrift store and buy exaggerated pieces (tall hats, flowing skirts, large jackets). Then you simply have to either bleach or color every piece you have with white! To make it simpler, buy all white items that are similar in shade. Then grab some white face paint and paint any exposed skin the same color. Once all your items are on and you are painted white, you can walk around ghost-like with one another. This costume will still be amazing enough to make people's jaws drop at the unique and starkness of your costumes! If you have access to a smoke machine, you will look that much cooler! 3 Peter Pan and Wendy

There is nothing wrong with a classic costume done well! Peter Pan and Wendy are the characters that stole our hearts as children and we still remake film after film of the story of them. It is a simple and fun costume that everyone will recognize! For Peter Pan, go out and find some sort of green tunic or shirt with some dark green leggings. As for the hat, it will be simple enough to find a feather, but may require some assembly to get that pointed hat you want. Leftover fabric may work or you may also be able to find a similar hat at a costume store! For Wendy, any long blue nightgown will work! It may also be something easily found in the dress section of the thrift store. A cute and simple belt around the waist and some curls is all you need! Want to amp up the costume? Find an old small bird cage, grab a flickering battery-powered candle, cover the bird cage with a light see-through fabric, and you now have your captured Tinkerbell!

2 Medusa and Victim

Medusa is a Greek mythological monster than many will recognize if you can get your costume looking great! Any sort of Greek toga-looking dress or outfit will work as your costume. Then using some green face paint or makeup, use a fish net stocking as a stencil over your skin to give it a scaly look! As for the snakes, if you can get your hair into a strong bun, then you can go to your local dollar store and buy plastic snakes! Stick them through your bun, or another way to attach them is to put them onto a headband that is a similar to the color of your hair. And of course, Medusa needs a victim! Have your man dress up in a soldier outfit of some kind, complete with a sword and some gladiator sandals. Then go at him with grey or black paint and makeup! 1 Mystique and Wolverine

A superhero costume is always appreciated! Here is an amazing representation of Wolverine and Mystique that actually doesn't require too much! For Mystique, if you don't want to paint your whole body blue, a great solution is to purchase a blue morph suit that you can attach or paint on scales. The other option is to buy a bikini that you don't mind dying blue! Then you just have to cover the rest of your exposed skin in blue paint, put some red temporary hair dye in, and you are pretty much complete! Wolverine is a great costume for guys that is fun to wear and doesn't require too much effort. All you need is a leather jacket (one with stripes similar to Hugh Jackman's iconic Wolverine one would be best!), jeans, and a plaid shirt. Then puff up your hair a little, attach some fake hair (or draw it on) to give you those wonderful sideburns and facial hair. Make a cigar and then all that is needed is your claws! These can be made with cardboard and attached to gloves, or you can attach them to your skin using a safe and secure glue! You are now two beautifully costumed mutants!
