When you're a major Hollywood movie star, platinum-selling musician, or beloved athlete, you've resigned yourself to living a life in the spotlight. But what about your kids? A lot of celebrity children often follow in the footsteps of their famous parents, because it's what they know and what they have a natural talent for. Sure, some kids might veer off the beaten track and try their own hand at something totally different, but more often than not, they become part of an entertainment or athletic dynasty.

When you're the son of a famous father, you'll also probably deal with a lot of comparisons to your dad, both in terms of physical resemblance and talent - and when you're growing up in the public eye, with all your awkward stages for everyone to see, that's not always a good thing. Fortunately for these 15 men, their awkward adolescence is long behind them, as they've grown into drop-dead-gorgeous dudes with talent to match! Making more than a few women thirsty, these guys might surprise you with their charm and good looks - but once you look at where it all came from, it's pretty easy to figure it out.

15 Jeremy Irons & Max Irons

It's a tale of two Brits in this father-son pair. Academy Award-winning actor Jeremy Irons (whose face you might not recognize but who is actually the voice of Scar from The Lion King) is the father of Max Irons, a 31-year-old actor who is beginning to make a bit of a name for himself on the small and big screens, appearing in the TV mini-series The White Queen in 2013 and the film Woman in Gold in 2015.

While Jeremy has been a veritable thespian for years, Max has struggled a bit more, even saying that you don't get the really good roles until you're a bit older. His good looks have led him to be cast as the love interest in movies like The Host, and have also given him some major cred in the modelling world. He's modelled for fashion house Burberry, as most good-looking, quasi-famous British offspring are bound to do, and even landed a spot as one of GQ's best-dressed British men in 2015.

14 Jack Nicholson & Ray Nicholson

Is it any surprise that one of Hollywood's most notorious ladies men would be the father of an equally attractive son? While Jack Nicholson may not be quite the looker he once was, he definitely passed on his devilish charm to his son, 24-year-old Ray - the father and son pair look almost identical!

Often joining his dad courtside for one of his beloved Lakers games, Ray isn't really into the acting game, despite appearing in a few bit parts in films. Instead, Ray seems drawn to the other side of the camera, choosing to work as a director. Since Jack Nicholson is considered one of the most talented actors in Hollywood, we can definitely understand why Ray is a bit hesitant to step into those shoes! 12 Donald Sutherland & Rossif Sutherland

You've probably heard of Kiefer Sutherland, the other son of Donald Sutherland who made it big on shows like 24 as Jack Bauer, but have you heard about Rossif Sutherland? Just the first Canadian to grace our list, Rossif is a 38-year-old actor who was initially hesitant to join the family business in Hollywood, and didn't start acting until 2003. Unlike his Dad, who has been a Canadian staple for decades, recently appearing in the hugely successful Hunger Games franchise as President Snow, Rossif has had a bit more of a slow climb. On the popular TV show Reign, Rossif played Nostradamus, so maybe he saw that success and happiness were in the stars - he actually married his costar, Celina Sinden, this past February and also welcomed a son (sorry, ladies). If moodier, introspective guys are your type, perhaps Rossif is the one you'll want to swoon over!

11 Dustin Hoffman & Jacob Hoffman

One of the most famous and funniest actors around, Dustin Hoffman is a legend in Hollywood, having had a career in film, television, and theatre since 1960. The man can do drama, comedy, romance - whatever - and be miraculous in every role, which is why he's won two Academy Awards (and been nominated five times).

Jacob Hoffman is just one of the Hoffman sons (the other is Max), but he is the more famous of the two, with appearances in The Wolf of Wall Street as shoe designer Steve Madden and Click as the adult version of Adam Sandler's character's son. Coming from a father as talented as Dustin, Jacob hasn't limited himself to acting. Instead, he's tried his hand at directing and writing, for music videos and short films. A graduate of NYU Film School, Jacob got a bit of a taste for the Hollywood life when he was a child, appearing in bit parts in his dad's movies, like Hook and Rain Man! 10 Kurt Russell & Wyatt Russell

Wyatt Russell has the luck to be the offspring of not one but two major Hollywood figures: Dad is actor Kurt Russell and mom is Goldie Hawn - which makes Kate Hudson his half-sister! The famously unmarried (but no less steady) couple have really given some good genes to 30-year-old Wyatt here, who is an actor and former professional hockey player.

Kurt and Goldie have been Hollywood heavyweights for ages, but Wyatt is only just getting his feet wet, thanks to roles in films like This Is 40, a co-starring gig alongside Channing Tatum in 22 Jump Street, and a starring role in an episode of Netflix's incredible and mind-bending Black Mirror. You've probably heard a lot about Will Smith's kids with wife Jada Pinkett Smith. If you have Twitter, you definitely follow Jaden Smith for his nonsensical, pseudo-philosophical ramblings. But ignore all that and just focus on Trey Smith, Will's first son and an obvious source of eye candy.

24-year-old Trey is an actor and a DJ, and he actually appeared way back in 1998 in dad Will's music video for his song “Just the Two of Us”. Since then, he's clearly grown up, and in a really fine way! However, unlike a lot of other sons on this list, Trey hasn't done too much, preferring to let his younger half-siblings enjoy their share of the limelight while he keeps things pretty quiet. He's played some football, and his dad and uncle even opened a company in Beverly Hills that they named after it, but other than that, there's not too much to note. That face, though… *swoon*.

8 Henry Winkler & Max Winkler

Ehhhhh, it's the Fonz! Now a bit older and a lot greyer, but Henry Winkler has been a mainstay on TV sets for ages. As an actor, director, comedian, producer, and author, Henry is best known for his role on the '70s sitcom Happy Days, and while Fonzie was a hit with the ladies, Henry seems to have passed that trait onto his son, Max.

Like his dad, 33-year-old Max went into the entertainment business, but chose to make a name for himself behind the camera. As a writer and director, Max has only just started his career, moving from short films to TV episodes, including a few for the Zooey Deschanel-helmed New Girl. There are definitely physical similarities between this funny father and son, including a wide smile and twinkling brown eyes. Everyone's favourite dad, Tom Hanks, already has a lookalike son who's been making a name for himself in Hollywood for years - Colin Hanks. But did you also know that Tom has a son who's a bit of a bad boy as well? Enter Chester Hanks, whose stage name when he does music or movies is Chet Haze. And man, does this guy look GOOD! While big brother Colin has followed in Dad's footsteps, Chester has made a name for himself in other ways: positively, like when he appeared in Fantastic Four and episodes of Shameless, and negatively, like his ongoing battles with cocaine and alcohol addiction.

While Tom is America's favourite and one of the most beloved actors ever, Chester, now 26, has taken to Instagram to reveal his struggles with substance abuse, drug dealing, and alcohol addiction. 6 David Beckham & Brooklyn Beckham

David Beckham is an internationally recognized hottie, thanks in large part to his multiple scantily-clad underwear campaigns where we get to drool over his rock-hard body and chiseled features. Of course, the soccer star and model has also had a whole host of adorable kids, including sons Romeo, 14 and Cruz, 11, and daughter Harper, 5. There's also the little matter of Brooklyn Beckham, the oldest of the famous brood, who will be 18 in March, so bear with me here.

Who would've thought that the nerdy father from the American Pie series would be one half of the DNA that made this gorgeous creation! While the father-son pair clearly share the same taste in glasses, the physical resemblance stops there, because Dan Levy is a bonafide lady killer! The second Canadian on our list, Dan is a 33-year-old actor, writer, producer, and TV personality. You may have seen him on MTV Canada a few times before in the late 2000s!

Taking a cue from his dad, Dan has moved more into comedy as of late, including being behind the CBC series Schitt's Creek which stars Dan alongside his father. Denzel Washington has consistently been considered one of the sexiest men alive, so it's not that shocking to know that his son, 32-year-old John David Washington, is pretty easy on the eyes himself. While Denzel has been a major player in Hollywood for years - and has the awards to prove it - John David is a baller in his own right, as a former professional football player and now as a star of the HBO comedy series Ballers.

With bodybuilder, actor, and former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger as his dad and award-winning journalist and author Maria Shriver as his mom, Patrick was given the best of both worlds.

While Arnold is famous for the above accomplishments, an insane physique that hasn't dimmed with age, and an easily-identified (and imitated) voice, and Maria has been in the public eye for ages because of her Kennedy connections and talents, Patrick is a bit more subdued. Despite working as an actor and a model, Patrick has only recently become a mainstay in the Hollywood tabloids, and we can only guess why! You might not recognize the name Stellan Skarsgård, but the Swedish actor has been in more than a few major films you probably watched, like The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Good Will Hunting, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, and The Avengers, to name just a few. Likewise, you've probably seen his son, the insanely gorgeous Alexander Skarsgård.
