Hollywood romances are a difficult thing to master and only a handful of couples make it to their tenth wedding anniversary. There are many reasons celebrity couples split up; not spending enough time together, growing apart, financial issues or - adultery. Stars are considered highly desirable, as they are often physically attractive, plus they have a lot of money and power - many women will be throwing themselves at their feet.
According to Robert Weiss, author of Love In The Digital Age, he told Psychology Today that another cause of infidelity might be down to an ego trip, explaining, "He may feel as if he is too old (or too young), not handsome enough, not rich enough, not smart enough, etc. To bolster his flagging ego, he seeks validation from women other than his mate, using this extracurricular spark of interest to feel wanted, desired, and worthy."
These following guys all had some of the world's most beautiful women on their arm but apparently that wasn't enough. They were caught out cheating and everyone was left asking, "How could he cheat on such a goddess?"
15 Tony Parker and Eva Longoria
Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria is considered one of the hottest TV actresses of all time but that wasn't enough to keep her husband, NBA star Tony Parker, from falling for another woman. Parker had started sexting his former teammate Barry Brent's wife, which resulted in divorce for both couples. In 2007, the Barrys even attended the Parker's luxury wedding in France and Parker told ESPN Magazine, "We're like family."
The betrayal and divorce was painful for Longoria, as she revealed on the Piers Morgan Tonight show, "It was heartbreaking." She added, "So many people want me to hate him and destroy him, but I don't want to. I want him to be happy. He's not a bad person. I do believe in forgiving and forgetting. There was a reason we were together. I just want to hold on to the good times."
14 Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were together for twelve years and had three children together - until he ended it all by falling into bed with the nanny. They announced the divorce one day after their 10th wedding anniversary, leaving many shocked considering they were one of Hollywood's most admired couples.
A close friend of Christine Ouzounian, the nanny he alleged had an affair with, told US Weekly, "What started out as a flirtation quickly turned into more," adding, "Eventually she couldn't contain her excitement and spilled the beans that she was dating Ben Affleck… she told her friends she was completely in love with him. Ben told Christine things that led her to believe they were going to be fully together. Over the course of the last few months, their relationship became very real and serious to Christine."
13 Mario Lopez and Ali Landry
There is one thing worse than your husband cheating on you and thats when he decides to tell the world all about it. Mario Lopez, who was married to model and Miss USA 1996 titleholder Al Landry, told The Daily Mail, "I cheated on (Landry) days before our wedding. At that point I was not ready to settle down. I wasn't man enough to know how to go about handling it."
He added that although he knew cheating was going to hurt his future wife, he decided to just do it anyway, adding, "I figured at that point it was easier to ask for forgiveness. It's my bachelor party, we were going to have a good time." After learning about the affair, Landry filed for the annulment of the marriage and the couple separated just two weeks after their wedding day.
12 Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez
When you're dating Jennifer Lopez you would think that would be enough but it wasn't that way for former professional baseball player Alex "A-Rod" Rodriguez. The National Enquirer reported that he had been sending explicit messages to fitness model Laura Hunter and she exchanged nude photos with him. Hunter claimed they first started their affair when he was dating Cameron Diaz in 2011 and the two have been doing the dirty ever since.
Hunter alleged "(They) began FaceTiming again three or four times a day and (Hunter) was sending him explicit messages and photos. (Rodriguez) told (Hunter) he missed her, and May 11 he asked her to send a video of her (doing something explicit)." Since the news broke, J-Lo and A-Rod have still been sighted together so it looks as if all is forgiven.
11 Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani
Nanny Mindy Mann was named as the reason behind Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale's divorce. The three-year affair she was having with Rossdale ended the 13-year long marriage in 2015. Since the split, both Rossdale and Mann have been spotting enjoying an intimate lunch together in North Hollywood, clearly wishing to keep the romance alive.
Despite his affair, Rossdale did not want to divorce the mother of his two children. He told People magazine, "(Divorce) was completely opposite to what I wanted. Really not… but here we are. Apart from death, I think divorce is one of the hardest, most painful things to go through," before adding, "We had 20 years together and that in itself is pretty incredible. It's a lifetime. I still think she's incredible. It was a lovely 20 years and we have three amazing children. There were a lot of positives, and with time they'll become more and more obvious."

In 2005, Marilyn Manson married burlesque star Dita Von Teese but the union only lasted two years and it was revealed that he had an affair with Westworld actress Evan Rachel Wood. Manson met the then-18-year-old Wood at a party in West Hollywood and despite the 19-year age gap between them they began an affair, which lasted four years following his divorce.
Wood suffered a backlash following her controversial relationship, she revealed to The Edit, "Most teenagers are searching for identity, and I was thrown into a situation where I was supposed to have that already figured out. Then you're demonized for figuring it out and getting messy. People would call me a w***e when I walked down the street, and you can't not be hurt by that."

In 1995, Hugh Grant was dating Elizabeth "Liz" Hurley and they looked like a match made in Hollywood heaven but the relationship ended following a scandal. Grant was arrested on Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, when police found him receiving a favor from Hollywood adult worker Divine Brown. As the act was in a public place, he was fined $1,180 and placed on two years probation.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, when Leno asked him, "What the hell were you thinking?" Grant replied, "I think you know in life what's a good thing to do and what's a bad thing, and I did a bad thing. And there you have it. I don't have excuses." Divine Brown became a household name after the event and she told The Daily Mail, "That was the trick that changed my life. The event that earned me a million dollars."

Ethan Hawke was another star who fell under the spell of the nanny and this happened when he was still married to Uma Thurman. Following nine years of marriage, Hawke was linked to the nanny Ryan Shawhughes who he was since married and had two children with.
Shockingly he has no remorse over the affair and even called out his ex-wife for being upset about it all. He boldly told Mr Porter, "Sexual fidelity can't be the whole thing you hang your relationship on. To act all indignant, that your world has been rocked because your lover wasn't faithful to you, is a little bit like acting rocked that your hair went grey." Just to really twist the knife in, he added, "My relationship with my present wife is thrilling to me and I'm committed to it."

Sandra Bullock and Jesse James were married for three years until his adultery was splashed all over the tabloids. James had not just cheated once - but with four different women. One of the women who came forward was heavily tattooed model Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, who claimed she had a yearlong affair with James. Following the scandal, Bullock withdrew James' name as co-parent of her adopted son, Louis, and she filed for divorce.
James told US Weekly, "I'm the guy that ruined my marriage because I (slept with) some stripper. There's got to be some flaw in my personality that made me think that was okay. I got divorced and lost a kid I adopted because of it. Whether that's fair, whether I should have lost a kid due to infidelity, which I don't think anybody ever does."

According to a lawsuit filed by Bones actress, Kristina Hagan, after she appeared on the show Boreanaz sent 'sexually inappropriate' text messages to her as well.
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star told TV Week, "In a sacred ground like marriage, you find yourself out of it at certain times for reasons unknown that can be destructive. There could be a demon that kind of comes out and overtakes you. Do I believe in giving up? No, I don't. I'm a fighter. I'm a lover." The couple, who are still together now, have raised two children together.

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore married in 2005 and together they filled their Twitter accounts with romantic bedroom selfies and loving quotes for each other. Then after seven years of marriage, Kutcher cheated on Moore with Seal Leal - who was the girlfriend of actor Scott Eastwood at the time.
Leal told Fox News that the affair had ruined her life, she said, "I got fired from my job. I am no longer friends with my best friend who was my roommate because it caused so many problems and I had to move out. I wasn't working for two months. I had no idea what I was getting myself into." The shocking affair ended the marriage and Kutcher remarried to actress Mila Kunis and the pair have two children together.

Former NFL player Hank Baskett and Kendra Wilkinson (former Playboy Playmate and Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriend) married in 2009. Then in 2014, Baskett was caught in a scandal involving a transgender adult worker he had visited. Despite initially denying the claims, there was later audio released in which he can be heard urging the woman to stay quiet about the affair.
Wilkinson said her husband's actions were down to him being "naïve and gullible" and that "led him to the hell that we've lived." She also told People magazine, "I can say he was not loyal to me. I don't care about the act. I care about how he reacted to it and how I was told by the media what happened. That scarred me."

When Tiger Woods was exposed as a serial cheater on Thanksgiving Day in 2009 the world was shocked that he would stray from his stunning wife, Swedish model Elin Nordegren. Earlier that year, Woods was photographed in the Oval Office meeting President Obama and Forbes named him the first athlete to earn $1 billion.
Then the news broke that Woods had been having an affair with New York nightclub hostess Rachel Uchitel - the same woman who almost wrecked David Boreanaz's marriage. he was photographed entering a hotel with Uchitel during the Australian Masters. His wife also found several text messages on his phone from other women, which proved Uchitel was not the only one. Nordegran left the marriage with $110 million and Woods lost that same amount of money in endorsement contracts that were immediately ended.

British actors Jude Law and Sienna Miller were a match made in heaven. However, their engagement came to an end when Law decided to fall into bed with the nanny to his three children from a previous marriage, Daisy Wright. One source told The Daily Mail that Law actually pinned the blame for the affair on Miller, they claimed, "Rather than feeling guilty and contrite he has turned the whole thing against Sienna. He said if she is not partying, she is sleeping and he completely blames her for what he has done. He told her, 'I told you I was unhappy. I told you I needed you to be there for me. Why didn't you listen to me?'"
The affair was revealed when Law's ex-wife, Sadie Frost, caught the two of them in bed together. Wright then went to the papers to sell her kiss-and-tell story, as she revealed to The Sunday Mirror, "It was amazing. Jude was a masterful lover who made my whole body tingle."

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were the celebrity showbiz couple everyone loved to see together during their five-year marriage. Then when Pitt went to shoot the film Mr and Mrs Smith with Angelina Jolie - the two became a lot closer than expected and the affair ended his marriage to Aniston.
Pitt revealed that during his marriage to Aniston he was miserable and wasting it away on marijuana. He revealed, "I think that my marriage had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn't." Actor Jack Black, who starred with Jolie in Kung-Fu Panda, also told Esquire magazine, "In Angie (Pitt) saw a very adventurous person who was grabbing onto life and taking it to it's nth degree. It was intriguing as I felt Brad had that in him and wanted to unleash it." These words will be yet another harsh blow for Aniston.
