15 Hottest Guys On The CW
The CW is the network to turn to when you're looking for a television show that's packed with drama and good looking people. The channel only launched in 2006 (RIP WB), but it's been able to deliver several hit TV shows since then. The CW offers every type of show your heart desires including high school dramas, superhero series, romantic comedies, horror mysteries, sci-fi series, and of course a show about vampires. Despite the many genres, one thing remains constant - the cast is always gorgeous.
It was hard to narrow down this list to just 15 because almost every actor on the network is super hot. So thank you to the CW casting directors! We appreciate you casting a diverse group of actors that are not only talented but are also very easy on the eyes. Let's take a look at some of the sexiest actors that currently star on CW shows.
15 Stephen Amell
We could watch Stephen Amell work out all day. The 35-year-old Canadian actor plays Oliver Queen, a womanizing millionaire turned superhero, on the hit show Arrow. Stephen's classic blue eyed good looks are enough for most of us to swoon over him, but the fact that he is in amazing shape makes him even more attractive. Many fans are guilty of YouTubing clips of Stephen's character training to become the Green Arrow. The workout scenes would be brutal for the average person, but Stephen makes the salmon ladder and upside down sit ups look easy. There are also many scenes in the show where Oliver is supposed to look disheveled, but Stephen still looks perfect, even with shaggy hair and dirt on his face. Of course, the fact that he plays a bada$$ archer vigilante on the show gives him bonus hot points. Stephen's first cousin, actor Robbie Amell, is also super sexy. We need more Amells on our television screens!
14 David Ramsey
Yes another hot actor is on this show! David Ramsey's character on Arrow went from being Oliver's bodyguard to an integral part of the superhero team, and boy are we glad to see more of him! David plays John Diggle, Oliver's buff best friend who lucky for us, trains with him pretty often. David's strong arms and sleeveless shirts have probably attracted a few more female viewers to the show. The 6'2” 45-year-old actor can definitely make 25-year-olds jealous with his physical perfection. Not surprisingly, David has a black belt in martial arts and is also into boxing. On the show and in real life, David gets brownie points for being a good dad. Diggle would do anything to protect his family, which is definitely something most women look for in a man. You can see pictures of David's actual son on his Instagram, and yes he's as adorable as you would imagine.
13 Grant Gustin
Grant Gustin may not be the most built actor on the CW, but who could resist that smile? Grant plays the fastest man alive on The Flash, and his charm has certainly won female fans' hearts. The Flash, whose name is Barry Allen, is a crime scene investigator, which means in addition to being a cutie, he's also pretty smart. Being a superhero is just the icing on the cake. We also love that Grant's character is a hopeless romantic. If you think the 27-year-old actor looks familiar, it could be because you remember him from Glee. Yep, he can sing too! What girl doesn't love a man who can sing and act? Grant has always been a theater kid - he attended musical theater school while he was in high school and went on to attend the BFA Music Theater Program at Elon University. We suspect that being the star of The Flash is just the beginning of Grant Gustin's acting career.
12 Mehcad Brooks
Mehcad Brooks is so hot that even aliens find him attractive. On Supergirl, Mehcad plays James Olsen, Supergirl's on and off again crush. He is often the voice of reason on the show, and we love that his character is always willing to do the right thing. His character also recently became a hero of his own, known as Guardian. You won't be shocked to learn that Mehcad is a former Calvin Klein underwear model, but you may be surprised to find out that the 6'3” actor is also a talented basketball player. He actually turned down scholarships to play for Ivy League universities because he wanted to focus on pursuing an acting career. He thought of modeling as a way to help him pay for tuition at the University of Southern California. In fact, he actually felt uncomfortable posing for photo shoots. We're glad he's comfortable with being in front of the camera for television.
11 Brandon Routh
Brandon Routh first captured our hearts as the lead in Superman Returns, but today he's known for being a different superhero, The Atom, on DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Brandon's character, Ray Palmer, first appeared on Arrow, but the network decided to create a spin-off show for many of the awesome characters that no longer had a place on Arrow or The Flash. Fans were happy to see Brandon's classic good looks on their TV screens once again. It's no surprise that Brandon was chosen to play Superman back in 2006 since he does look a lot like the famous comic book character. Brandon's Midwestern roots helped him land the role. Fun fact, one of Brandon's first gigs was being an extra in Christina Aguilera's 1999 "What A Girl Wants" music video. The actor is also friends with Kal Penn and is married to actress Courtney Ford with whom he has a son.
10 Justin Baldoni
You can stare at Jane The Virgin star Justin Baldoni's abs for hours. The tall, dark, and handsome actor actually wanted to play sports professionally but shifted gears towards acting after tearing his hamstring. Justin got his first television role in 2004 on The Young and The Restless. In addition to being a talented actor, Justin is also a director and producer. In fact, he took a break from acting in order to focus on directing, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to play Rafael, a role he thought was perfect for him. As if his looks weren't enough, he is also socially conscious. He started the hashtag #Good30 in order to promote people doing good deeds with all the proceeds going to charity. He also directed a documentary called My Last Days which follows terminally ill patients and their families. Justin hopes that the film will help people not take their life for granted.
9 KJ Apa
KJ Apa is the star of the new CW show Riverdale (which also happens to be playing on Netflix too!). He plays Archie, yes red-headed Archie from the comic book series, but an updated, sexier version. The 19-year-old actor from New Zealand just began his career in 2013, but he's already capturing the interest of young female viewers. KJ beat out many other actors to land the role of Archie - the worldwide process took casting directors four months to complete. The network wanted to bring an edgier twist to the classic stories, and casting an attractive group of new actors was a part of that plan. Although his hair is not naturally red, he definitely pulls off the look. KJ hopes to star in more action movies in the future, and he's definitely in shape for them. When's he's not acting, KJ enjoys playing the guitar and visiting his father's family in Samoa.
8 Chris Wood
Chris Wood is so good looking, the CW decided to put him on two of their shows! You can find him on The Vampire Diaries and Supergirl playing two equally hot characters. The network clearly loves him, considering he's been on several CW shows including The Carrie Diaries and Containment. On Supergirl, Chris has a main role playing Mon-El, an adorably naive alien that is new to Earth and winds up winning the heroine's affection. The Ohio native has a background in musical theater. He played Melchior in the national tour of Spring Awakening. We're pretty sure the CW is working on a musical episode of Supergirl, but only time will tell if we get to see the hunk belt out a few tunes on the show. Before becoming an actor, Chris worked at Panera Bread, and we're guessing a lot of customers came in to see him. The actor enjoys playing baseball and listening to classical music.
7 Jared Padalecki
Jared Padalecki is one of the CW's original hotties. Supernatural first aired in 2005 and fans have been in love with him since. Who wouldn't be into a guy that can protect you from ghosts and demons? Many of us knew the actor before then for playing good guy Dean on Gilmore Girls. The 6'4” actor is not only good looking, but he's also an inspiration to people who struggle with depression. Jared has been open about his personal struggle with his mental health and even launched a campaign to help raise awareness. The Always Keep Fighting campaign raised money by selling t-shirts with Jared's perfect face on them. As if being kind and hot wasn't enough, turns out Jared is also smart. He excelled in engineering throughout high school and even won a National Forensics League Championship. The 34-year-old actor is now happily married and a father to two, soon to be three, children.
6 Jensen Ackles
As the other half of the hunky Supernatural duo, Jensen Ackles has also long been a CW hottie. We're pretty sure the show has been on for 12 years in part because viewers would miss seeing Jensen's pretty face. Before playing Dean Winchester on the hit show, Jensen had already been a successful television actor having starred in Days of Our Lives, Dawson's Creek, and Smallville to name a few. The handsome actor was even perfect looking as a baby - he began modeling at the age of 2! He stopped modeling to pursue acting, and now he even directs the occasional episode of Supernatural. Did we mention that he can also sing and play the guitar? He is friends with co-star Jared Padalecki in real life and helped Jared with his campaign to spread depression awareness. Jensen is married to the beautiful Danneel Harris and they have three children together.
5 Paul Wesley
Few women could resist being turned into a vampire if it meant being bitten by Stefan Salvatore, Paul Wesley's character on The Vampire Diaries. The actor's chiseled jaw line and strong brows make him the perfect guy to play a sexy vampire. Before getting into acting, Paul was a bad boy in school - he even got expelled for fighting. Luckily, he got his act together once he fell in love with school theater productions. You might be surprised to learn that Paul can speak Polish fluently and that he visits family in Poland often. He also grew up with three sisters, so chances are, he knows how to treat a lady. Paul loves the classic book, "The Catcher in the Rye", which he credits with changing his life. Interestingly enough, he claims to not watch too much television, despite being in numerous shows over the course of his career.
4 Ian Somerhalder
Ian Somerhalder has the perfect combo of dark hair and blue eyes that so many people love. The actor plays a seductive vamp on The Vampire Diaries and has been a fan favorite since the show first aired in 2009. In addition to starring in the show, he's also directed a few episodes. Ian is not only a talented stud, but he's quite the philanthropist too. He's been involved in many charities. A few of the causes he stands for include animal welfare, supporting the LGBT community, and reversing climate change. He also joined efforts to clean up after an oil spill. The actor started the Ian Somerhalder Foundation in order to use his celebrity status to encourage people to protect the environment and to show his support for ecologist Allan Savory. The only thing better than a hot guy is a hot guy who helps society! Nikki Reed agrees - the stunning actress married Ian in 2015.
3 Rahul Kohli
Rahul Kohli was a relatively unknown actor in the U.S. before landing the role of hot doctor Ravi Chakrabarti on iZombie. The English actor knew he wanted to be a performer since he was a kid and attended drama school in London after graduating high school. Rahul decided to move to Los Angeles for his career and was lucky enough to land a part in iZombie pretty soon after. He actually sent in an audition tape from London to the casting directors before making the move. He is pretty active on social media and even dishes out the occasional anti-Kardashian tweet. Rahul is a huge Star Wars and Shakespeare fan, so if hot geek is your type, he's the CW star for you. His love of Star Wars is so strong that he credits the movie for sparking his interest in acting. He even attended acting school in the town where the original movie was filmed.
2 Vincent Rodriguez III
Vincent Rodriguez III's character turned a girl into a bit of a stalker on the comedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and we understand why. Vincent's perfect hair and smile could make anyone go a little crazy. The actor also has a great body that we're sure he works pretty hard on. The actor had only been on TV a few times before landing the lead role of Josh Chan. Vincent did attend performing arts school and has a theater background, which he shows off pretty often during the show's musical numbers. Unfortunately for us ladies, Vincent is happily married to Gregory Wright and he even shared an adorable picture on social media of the two of them celebrating their one year wedding anniversary in Disneyland. Vincent is also proud to be one of the few actors of Filipino descent on a major network tv show. After seeing Vincent, we're hoping to see a lot more!
1 Bob Morley
Australian actor Bob Morley may not be the typical Ken doll version of hot, but we are into his unique look for sure. The actor plays Bellamy Blake on The 100, a show about a post-apocalyptic world. Bob began his career on an Australian soap opera and has been on television shows pretty steadily since then. Prior to acting, Bob considered pursuing a career in Engineering. He's also a pretty avid reader - Tom Robbins is his favorite author and he hopes to one day work on a project with him. Bob stays fit by rock climbing and playing soccer. Like a few other actors on this list, Bob is musically inclined and plays the guitar and sings. He even competed on an Australian celebrity singing competition - why don't we have one of those in America? As of now, the actor is single, but we expect that won't last very long.
