15 Kardashian-Jenner Extended Family You Never Hear About

The Kardashians are known for their big family- but it might be a lot bigger than you thought! Of course we all know that Kris Jenner had four kids with her ex husband Robert Kardashian; Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob. She went on to remarry Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce, and together they have famous daughters Kendall and Kylie.

But there's a lot fans don't know about this famous family! Caitlyn was married twice before marrying Kris and has four older children. Robert Kardashian went on to marry several times after splitting with Kris. And, of course, there are grandmas, grandpas, aunts, and uncles on both sides that have never appeared on the family's reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Read on to find out more about this famous family and just how complicated their family tree actually is!

15 Ellen Pierson Kardashian

Ellen Pierson was Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, and Rob's stepmother believe it or not! Their late father lawyer Robert Kardashian married Ellen in July 2003, just two months before he sadly passed away from complication due to cancer. Though they were married for under a year, the two actually had a long relationship,

“I was with Robert for almost five years total. I dated him for three years, and he proposed to me in 2001,” Ellen revealed to InTouch magazine after revealing her memoir in 2013. Why was the wedding so close to his passing? “We married two months prior to his passing in 2003 and planned a wedding - we didn't just run right out and get married.” Contrary to rumors, she also states that she didn't marry Robert for his money.

However, the Kardashian kids haven't always felt the same way. After Ellen's book came out, Khloe Kardashian tweeted this: “You married him on his deathbed while he was not even aware of his surroundings.” None of the Kardashian sisters have had nice things to say about Ellen, but Khloe has been the most outspoken, calling her an “evil stepmother” and “will forger.”

14 Linda Thompson

Actress Linda Thompson was the second wife of Caitlyn Jenner and shares sons Brody and Brandon with the Olympic athlete. In 1977, Linda was a regular on the TV series Hee Haw. She also starred in a variety of films including Rabbit Test, Originally Intent, and The Bodyguard.

Her acting career never went too far and since the '70s she's had mostly one-time appearances in TV shows, including Beverly Hills, 90210, Starsky & Hutch, Fantasy Island, and The Fall Guy. She's also made appearances as herself on the reality TV show The Hills and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

She also went on to work in voice acting and song writing. She married iconic musician David Foster in 1991, though they split in 2005. The pair collaborated on various projects and even won an Emmy together. Before her relationship with Caitlyn, Linda dated Elvis from 1992-1976. This actress has quite the impressive dating history!

13 Robert Houghton

Kris Jenner's father was Robert Houghton- who coincidentally shared the same first name as her ex husband Robert Kardashian and now her only son. But there's a reason that fans haven't heard too much about Kris' father. Reports have suggested that he was abusive towards his family.

Star magazine revealed that Rob was an abusive alcoholic, whose drinking problem eventually caused his death in a car accident. His ex girlfriend Leslie Johnson Leech told the magazine, “Bob had a lot of charm and was a great salesperson who could sell just about anything to anybody!”

She went on, “He was very entrepreneurial and had all kinds of ideas about ways to make a lot of money, but he rarely acted on them, possibly because of his drinking. But I can definitely see how Kris got her business drive from her dad.” Leslie added that Rob didn't have a lot of contact with his family towards the end of his life.

12 Mary Jo Campbell

Some true fans of the Kardashians may recognize this name! Mary Jo Campbell is the mother of Kris Jenner, making her the grandmother of Kourtney, Khloe, Kim, Rob, Kendall, and Kylie! Mary Jo is in her late 70s, and has been seen before on the family's' reality show. She reportedly lives in beach town La Jolla, which is near San Diego, and she's been running a local clothing store called Shannon & Co. since the 1980s.

“They grew up playing in the store,” Mary Jo once said of her grandkids to The Daily Beast, “I recall Kim sitting on this very floor and counting money. She would sing, 'Counting is the game, and money is my name,' or 'Money is my name and counting is the game.' Something like that.”The famous grandmother has kept herself busy over the years, running reportedly 5 different stores in her lifetime. We can see where Kris gets her entrepreneurial spirit from!

11 Brody Jenner

Brody Jenner is well-known in the reality TV community, but not for Keeping Up with the Kardashians! Many people don't realize that Brody is the son of Caitlyn Jenner from her second marriage, making him a half sibling to Kendall and Kylie, and a stepbrother to the Kardashian kids.

Brody made a name for himself apart from his famous family by starring on The Hills. He's also made headlines for his romantic relationships with co-star Lauren Conrad and later singer Avril Lavigne. Brody has also starred in the reality shows The Princes of Malibu and Bromance. He's also made appearances on Keeping Up several times, especially in its earlier season.

However, the good-looking brunette has tried to distance himself from the spotlight, and now many fans often forget he's related to the Kardashian-Jenners! We wouldn't mind if we started seeing more of Brody on Keeping Up!

10 Brandon Jenner

Brandon Jenner is Brody's older brother and also one of Caitlyn's sons from a previous marriage. He starred with this brother on the short-lived The Princes of Malibu and has also appeared on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Kourtney and Kim Take Miami.

But, in recent years, he's been focusing on making music with his wife Leah Jenner. The couple had been dating since middle school and married in 2012 in Hawaii. Their duo increased in popularity when they debuted their first hit on Kourtney and Kim in partnership with E! Entertainment. They were originally signed to Warner Bros. Records, but have since moved on to making their own music!

Brandon is also busy being a dad! He and his wife welcomed their first child, Eva James Jenner, in 2015. However, their little girl doesn't get nearly as much media coverage as her cousins, like North West and Penelope Disick, as Brandon and Leah have both tried to stay out of the same type of spotlight as their extended Kardashian family.

9 Leah Jenner

Leah Jenner married into the Kardashian-Jenner family! She's the wife of Brandon Jenner, and the other half of their music group Brandon and Leah. Since welcoming daughter Eva, Leah has taken a step back from their music while Brandon has gone on to begin a solo career.

Back in January, Brandon revealed he wrote his single “In the Stars” about his beautiful blonde wife. “I wrote 'In the Stars' for Leah last year after we had our daughter Eva together,” Brandon revealed to People, “It's amazing how my love for her has only grown over the years! Seeing Leah flourish as a mother has elevated my respect, not only for her, but for women everywhere.” Aww!

8 Cassandra "Casey" Marino

Caitlyn Jenner's most famous daughters are Kendall and Kylie, but the celeb also has one older daughter from her first marriage, Cassandra “Casey” Marino. She was born in 1980 to Caitlyn and her then-wife Chrystie Jenner. Unlike her siblings and stepsiblings, Casey has kept herself widely out of the spotlight. She actually seems like she's leading a pretty normal life! The 36-year old is married to Michael Marino and they have three children, daughters Isabella and Francesca and son Luke.

Unfortunately, Caitlyn has revealed that she and Casey haven't been very close, as she was absent from her older kid's lives for much of their childhood. Cassandra once said in a 2015 interview with Diane Sawyer of their relationship, “We have a very complex relationship. He's disappeared out of our lives, especially out of my life. So I'm looking forward to this next chapter." I guess that's why she's never appeared on Keeping Up!

7 David and Yolanda Foster

Okay this is where things get confusing! Musician David Foster was married to Leah Thompson, the ex wife of Caitlyn Jenner and mother of Brandon and Brody Jenner. That means he was the stepfather of Brandon and Brody. Though it's confusing, that still makes him part of the Kardashian-Jenner clan! It get's even more confusing, because David went on to marry model Yolanda Foster (though the two have since split!).

Yolanda is the mother of three famous faces, Gigi, Bella, and Anwar Hadid, who she shares with her ex husband, real estate tycoon Mohammed Hadid. That's right! The Kardashians are somewhat related to the Hadids. Kendall and Kylie are often photographed hanging out with Gigi and Bella, and now you know that it's not only because they're all such good friends. Hollywood is a small world!

6 Gigi, Bella, and Anwar Hadid

We bet you never thought these names would be on this list! To be fair, all three of these models are huge names at the moment so you're probably at least somewhat familiar with them. But most people don't realize the family relationship they have to the Kardashian-Jenners.

To reiterate the Hadid children's mother Yolanda was married to David Foster, who was previously married to Caitlyn Jenner's ex wife Linda Thompson. Yep, that's pretty complicated!

Gigi, Bella, and Anwar are some of the biggest names in the modeling world right now. Gigi and Bella have modeled for Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, Victoria's Secret, and Balmain, while Anwar is just rising to game by posing for magazines like Vogue and Nylon.

5 Karen Houghton

Momager Kris Jenner has only one sibling- a sister named Karen Houghton. Though Kris is known for emphasizing that family comes first, she's had a troubled relationship with her younger sister who has struggled with substance abuse for many years. The mom-of-six is known for liking to control her family's famous image, so it's no surprise that she's done her best to hide her sister from the spotlight.

A source once said to Star, “And while Karen is a totally down-to-earth sweetheart, she certainly doesn't come close to meeting the glam standards that Kris likes to publicly project for her family. That's also more than likely why you never see Karen on any of the family TV shows.”

The source went on to explain that Karen has a history of dating bad guy. Karen's relationships with such unsavoury characters had to have been a major sore point with the Kardashian clan. Karen means well, but bringing violent cons into their family circle has made her a bit of a black sheep - especially to Kris.” We bet we won't be seeing much of Karen on Keeping anytime soon!

4 Burton “Burt” Jenner

Burton “Burt” Jenner is Caitlyn Jenner's eldest child. Burt was born in 1978 to Caitlyn and Chrystie Jenner. Not too much is known about the Kardashian kids' oldest stepbrother as he has stayed mostly out of the spotlight. We know that he has some type of career in racing cars and trucks, which is most likely due to his famous dad!

However, Burt has had some serious struggles. He was reportedly homeless for some time despite his rich family, with him admitting he's slept in his car “a couple of times.” He's also been open about is lack of a relationship with Caitlyn, something many of Caitlyn's older children have expressed.

When Caitlyn announced her transition, he said, "I have high hopes that Caitlyn is a better person than Bruce. I'm very much looking forward to that." He went on to add, “At the end of the day there's no way I can get around it. I am ungodly thankful and I feel very fortunate to not have had my father in my life… . I learned how to open doors and shake hands and look people in the eye. Things that my dad never would have taught me."

3 Chrystie Jenner

Caitlyn Jenner has been married a total of four times. Her first marriage was to Chrystie Jenner (now known as Chrystie Scott), which lasted from 1972-1981. Together they had kids Cassandra and Burton. In an interview with People magazine, the star opened up about Caitlyn telling her abut her gender identity for the first time, describing it as a “shock.”

“I can't remember the exact words because it was such a shock to me, but he opened up his heart and confessed, and he had to share this deep, dark secret,” She said, adding that Caitlyn admitted it in their first year of marriage, though she waited several decades to make her public transition. “It's so hard to wrap your head around it, particularly because he was such a manly man,” But Chrystie said that Caitlyn's admission didn't “threaten” their relationship, adding that “It wasn't really a problem.”

2 Damon Thomas

Before she married Kris Humphries and then Kanye West, Damon Thomas was the love of Kim Kardashian's life! Many fans forget the star was married once before her two most famous marriages. Damon Thomas is one-half of The Underdogs, an R&B and pop production duo. Kim and Damon were married from 2000-2004.

In 2013, the couple's divorce papers were leaked in which Kim alleged that Damon had been physically and verbally abusive. In response, Damon gave a candid interview with In Touch magazine, where he bashed the reality star. He claimed that she's fame hungry and obsessed with getting work done. “She can't write or sing or dance, so she does harmful things in order to validate herself in the media,” He said, “That's someone who is fame hungry to me. It's just not cool at all.” These exes are definitely not on good terms!.

1 Jan Ashley Kardashian

Robert Kardashian married twice after his divorce from Kris Jenner. Though we know he was married to Ellen Pierson at the time of his death, he was also married to Jan Ashley briefly from 1998-1999.

Not a lot is known about Robert's second wife. In interviews she's given throughout the years, Jan seems to have a lot of resentment and anger towards Kris Jenner. She has also alleged that Kris and her children were the reason her marriage to Robert didn't last.

In one interview, Jan said, “Did the kids have anything to do with [the divorce] ? Of course. They did! All I know is he was upset all the time. Not with me, with his kids and ex wife. They were after him for money, money, money. I don't think he could handle them.” We doubt Jan is invited to family events anymore!
