Have you heard of the new show The Arrangement? If you haven't, that's totally not your fault -- it can be tough to know about what's new and hot in the crowded television landscape. But if you don't start watching it ASAP, you only have yourself to blame. Because this show is awesome and it's definitely worth checking out. The show is basically about a struggling actress in L.A. (who is also a waitress, yes) who gets the opportunity to audition for a hot famous actor's movie. The two actually hang out and eat tacos after her audition and the sparks start flying. Then she learns what's really going on: he wants her to marry him. But not because he's magically fallen in love with her after only knowing her for five seconds. Because this is a contract (aka an arrangement) and she will be paid millions of dollars. Are you interested yet?! Here are 15 reasons you should totally be watching The Arrangement.
15 It's Juicy
There is no way this show could not be juicy with a premise like that, right?! This show will remind you of the best TV dramas that pretty much feel like soap operas week after week. You will get attached to the characters pretty much immediately and will not believe how much you love this show even after only watching the pilot. There is all kinds of conflict and tension that ranges from relationship drama, bedroom drama, and whether or not the main character Megan will truly make it as an actress. This show is anything but boring and it definitely deserves a spot on your TV watching schedule, even if you think that you already have way too many things to watch and you can't possibly get addicted to another show. You can definitely get addicted to another show and this is the one that you should watch.
14 It's About Hollywood
Is there anything better than a film or TV show about Hollywood? Definitely not. The Arrangement is all about trying to make it in the crazy and wonderful world of Hollywood. And the best part is that you get to see this world from two sides. You get to see it through the eyes of Megan, a struggling actress who is super talented and waiting for her big break. You get to see it through the eyes of Kyle, who is the "It Boy" in Tinseltown and has been famous for a really long time. These two perspectives are each really interesting and worth watching. You will feel for Megan and really worry about her since you will want only the best for you. She's a super sweet girl and a really sympathetic character. You might think that Kyle is insanely gorgeous (more on that later) and that he's not worth feeling sorry for since he's such a wealthy, successful pretty boy, but you will grow to love him too. And you will love thinking about what being famous really means.
13 It's Got Beautiful People
The best TV shows are about beautiful people, right? Think about it. From The Good Wife to Gossip Girl, you have enjoyed watching countless television series that feature super pretty people. Sure, you need more than mere beauty to watch a show and devote your precious free time to it. You need drama and interesting characters and logical storylines (or at least logical within the world of the show). Sometimes it's nice to just kick back and relax and watch beautiful people on the small screen. You know that not everyone looks this perfect and that not even the actors do since they've spent countless hours in a hair and makeup chair. But hey, some wish fulfillment never hurt anyone, and you just like watching pretty people. Nothing wrong with that and you're definitely not the only one.
12 You Haven't Missed A Lot
There have only been a few episodes of this show so far, so if you want to check it out, you won't have to devote hours upon hours. You can watch the first few episodes in a single evening. That's really great news considering your busy TV watching schedule (and no, that's not even a joke -- between cable and Netflix, you're a busy pop culture addict). You might as well start watching this show as soon as you can since you don't want to get so far behind that you get super overwhelmed and feel like you might as well skip this show entirely. That would basically be a crime since this show is really, really good and it deserves lots of fans and viewers. Hopefully it'll do well and will get a second season (and more) since it's a great addition to the genre of fun, juicy dramas that always keep you guessing.
11 It's Unique
Have you seen a show with this plot before? Definitely not. It's super unique and original and that's definitely a reason that you should tune in. Since there are literally new shows every single week, it can be tough to know if you should take a chance on a new show. Sometimes you get really into a show and fall in love with it… and then are devastated to learn that it's canceled after only one season (or worse, after a handful of episodes). Other times, you hate a show from the very first episode and then never watch it ever again. The good news is that won't happen with The Arrangement. You will be interested in the storylines and the characters from the first episode (and even from the first few minutes) and you will be glad that you tuned in. No regrets here. No negative thoughts. Just total obsession.
10 There Will Be 10 Episodes
Cool, right? When you think about it, a 10 episode first season is honestly a thing of beauty. Just think about the way that streaming services like Netflix are doing things. When you watch a show like Love, you have a 10 or 12 episode season, and that's honestly enough. Sure, you might be pretty sad when you finish your epic binge watch since you will definitely want more, but you do feel pretty satisfied. You definitely feel like that number of episodes is enough. Sometimes with cable dramas and sitcoms, 22 episodes are way too many for a season. You get tired of the show and wish that the storylines would be wrapped up sooner and wouldn't go on forever and ever. Of course, after this season, you might wish for a second season, but you will probably be happy that there are 10 episodes since you won't get bored or wish the season was shorter.
9 You Will Have A New Fave Actress
Christine Evangelista is the 30-year-old actress starring as Megan on The Arrangement. And honestly, she will be your new favorite actress pretty much as soon as you watch the very first episode. Christine is adorable and gorgeous all at once. That might sound like a super strange combination but it is definitely possible and she proves that. You probably have not seen her much before since she has had a handful of smaller roles and this is definitely her big break. That is pretty cool since while you watch her character Megan break into the acting industry, that is basically what is happening in real life with Christine as well. We love when that happens! She previously had a role on the short-lived mystery series 666 Park Avenue, she was on The Walking Dead, and she was also in the adorable movie The Intern. You will definitely be a fan.
8 The Cast Is Super Cute
Just look at this photo of Josh Henderson and Christine Evangelista. Don't they look super cute and sweet?! They have been interviewed together a lot since, of course, they're co-starring on the show, and their interviews are always awesome. In a recent episode, photos of Megan completely naked are leaked. When Christine was asked about this, she said she had "anxiety for weeks" about the scene. Don't you just love that? This proves that she's really just a normal girl and doesn't have the whole Hollywood ego that's really annoying. You won't find her annoying at all and you won't dislike Josh, either (not that you could -- after all, just look at that face… ). It's always so much easier to watch a TV show when you really respect and like the actors who are portraying the main characters. It helps you root for the fictional people that much more.
7 It Feels Like A Reality Show
And that's a good thing. After all, you absolutely love reality shows, right? They're the best things to curl up with after a long day at work or when you're chilling out on a Sunday afternoon. Hopefully you're adding some coffee, red wine, and/or pizza to the whole deal too. Sometimes you will have to remind yourself that The Arrangement is fictional since it will have that reality show feel. It feels very true to life and like Megan and Kyle really are part of the whole Tinseltown world. Megan's story arc is very logical and realistic since there are definitely tons of girls with sad backstories who try to make it in L.A. and play the fame game. Kyle's story is realistic too since he's got more to him than just his good looks, and that's definitely true of all the successful actors that have gotten fame and fortune.
6 It's On The E! Network
You know and love the E! network since it's brought you TV gems like Keeping Up with the Kardashians and #Rich Kids Of Beverly Hills. Now you can love this network even more since it's also the home of The Arrangement. Since the E! network is known for being a super fun network, you know that you can trust the brand. And you know that you will love this show too. This is a place all about entertainment, pop culture, and celebrities, and so it definitely feels like a natural fit for a show about making it in Hollywood and a marriage that is all for show and for fame. You will enjoy getting the chance to think about what being famous is really like and the pros and cons. It might be something that you never really think about it since hey, it's not you're ever going to be famous (much to your sadness). But this show will make you think.
5 It's Got Some Buzz
There's a reason why people are talking about this show (more on that soon) and the fact that there is some buzz around this show is another reason why you should definitely tune in. After all, you're a pop culture addict, right? You live and breathe this stuff. You love celebrity culture and entertainment news and you enjoy finding new television shows to watch. So why not watch this show, too? You won't feel left out and like you're the last possible person to have found out about a really great show. You will have been there since the beginning and your friends will think you're really cool. Some critics are talking about whether this show is like Unreal and while at least one said that this show isn't quite as good as that one, you shouldn't let that stop you. If you like being in the know, then watch this show.

What's cool about this show is that it's super glamorous. It's all about living the high life and looking good, and that's something that is very easy to watch on television. After all, the best shows are all about fantasy, right? Whether you're literally watching a fantasy show like Game Of Thrones or lusting after the clothes on Gossip Girl, you have to admit that you like being entertained and escaping for a bit. Everyday life can get a bit dull and everyone needs to dream of living a more interesting, exciting existence. That's why TV can play such a big role in your life. So when you're feeling like your life is super dull and you're super sick of the cold weather but can't afford a beach getaway, you might want to consider watching The Arrangement. 3 It Stars Josh Henderson
AKA the hottest guy you have ever laid eyes on. And that's not even an exaggeration. You might have seen Josh Henderson on the revival of Dallas, on 90210 or maybe even on Desperate Housewives. And if you haven't, then you're rushing to watch those shows, right? You totally should. Because this guy is gorgeous. Just look at those eyes. Whoa. He's a great actor too so don't think that he's just a pretty face. He's got the talent to back up those super good looks which is always the best combination. Josh was the best choice for the character of Kyle since he's got such smoldering good looks. He's got a mysterious glint in his eyes that keep you interested and keep you guessing. You won't be able to look away which is a great quality in a cute guy (and for one of the main characters in a TV show).
2 It's Supposedly About Scientology
One of the storylines in the show is that Kyle is part of something called The Institute Of The Higher Mind. It seems like a cult, it seems like a community, and it is all kinds of creepy and disturbing. Hmmm… sound familiar?! According to the rumors flying around about this show, the Institute is supposed to be based on Scientology. No one will really confirm this since it might not be something that the cast and crew really want to admit. But honestly, you can tell that this is true if you just watch the show and read between the lines. This will add another interesting layer to the series. And this fact alone will definitely make you want to keep watching since you'll wonder if there is anything more that you can learn and discover about this controversial thing. You might have more questions than answers, though.
1 It Might Be About Tom And Katie
Are Kyle and Megan based on Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes? Maybe. That is definitely what people are saying about this show. After all, there is tons of speculation that Katie was forced into marrying Tom, so maybe she was paid too and it was some kind of contract and arrangement. Or maybe that is not the case at all. You will probably never know the actual truth, no matter how curious you are and no matter how much you really wish that you had all the facts. All you know is that you are fascinated by a show that might be based on this real-life mystery. It definitely adds another layer to the series and creates some more interest.
