Trends come and go, but if there's one thing that doesn't change in Hollywood, it's that there's always celebrities bickering with each other. That's right. We love watching celebrities take shots at others. It sounds brutal but it's true. The things they say or tweet is so entertaining. It can get out of hand sometimes, though. Still, we love going back and recalling all the harsh shade.

There's plenty of different ways shade in general, but the best are the subtle ones. The ones where we assume which person that celeb is talking trash about but we're not entirely sure. Because we aren't certain, we, the followers, just play along and inadvertently make the issue worse by doing so. With social media, it's easy today to throw shade in the most subtle way such as using gifs, quotes, memes, and more. For example, some musicians throw shade with their songs, which would never go away now that those songs are released.

Regardless of who took the first shot, these shady moments are usually towards frenemies, exes, or really famous people that everyone loves to take a shot at. So we gathered these 15 following shady moments from some of our favorite (and least favorite) celebs that were entertaining to watch happen and didn't want it to end. 15 Rihanna Throws Shade at TLC

Apparently, the members of TLC said in a radio interview that Rihanna is always naked after commenting the singer's choice of wardrobe at the 2014 CFDA Awards. The Barbadian songstress wore a see-through, sequence dress that everyone loved, except Chilli and T-Boz. It takes some big balls to throw shade at Ri-Ri. But the “Pour It Up singer” clapped back on Twitter tweeting alongside a photo of herself sticking her tongue out, “When there's no changing the fact that I'm me and they're well… they're them.” Of course that wasn't the end from Ri-Ri. She then changed her Twitter background photo of the girls with their tops off. There was no response or reaction from the TLC ladies after that. I mean who would really, especially after that come back? This should serve as a lesson to not throw shade at Ri-Ri. Because when she shades you back, you're pretty much asking for it.

14 Snoop Dogg Throws Shade at Iggy Azalea

Snoop Dogg is known for posting hilarious memes and posts on Instagram. But sometimes the rapper can take his jokes too far, like the time he decided to take a shot at Iggy Azalea. He posted a meme along with the caption, “Iggy Azalea no makeup.” The meme was hilarious at first, but afterwards people thought it was pretty mean. Not one to be outdone, Azalea decided to speak up for herself and tweet something to let Snoop Dogg he's not getting off the hook that easily. “I'm bored of the old man threatening young women as entertainment trend and much more interested in the young women getting $ trend. Zzz,” she tweeted. People were saying Iggy's shade was better than Snoop Dogg's, and we have to agree. We're glad she found it in herself to clap back at the rapper.

13 Mark Wahlberg's Wife Totally Shading Justin Bieber

When Justin Bieber graced a Calvin Klein ad nearly naked in 2015, Mark Wahlberg's wife, Rhea, was unimpressed and aired her sentiments on Twitter. “My baby was the 1st and the best and not to mention… wow the retouching,” she tweeted. “Mark Wahlberg Calvin Klein ads-google search that's the real… .ain't gonna lie. Just gonna say this… did you ever hear the song #aintnuthingliketherealthingbaby.” Looks like his wife was having a lot of fun shading the “Sorry” singer. However, JB's fans were quick to jump at her calling her a hater. “No hate," she responded to one fan defending the Biebs. "Just saying the original was the best that's all." We totally get where you're coming from, Rhea. But perhaps she could've defended her hubby in a more cordial way or at least give Justin and his fans more time to embrace the underwear shoot.

12 Christina Aguilera versus Britney Spears

Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears have one of the most popular celebrity rivalries. This, of course, has resulted in some spats every now and then. For example: In an interview with US Weekly, Christina threw a lot of shade at Britney because she supposedly bought her own engagement ring. “I can't believe that girl bought her own engagement ring!" she said. "I've seen it, up close. It looks like she got it on QVC." Damn. The “Dirrty” singer wasn't holding back at all about how she truly feels about her former Disney co-star. In response to a comment by Christina saying the pop star is a “lost little girl,” Britney had it with the shade. “"A lost girl? I think it's probably the other way around. I can't believe she said that about me. When someone has been rude to you so many times, it's like, 'You know what, Christina, I'm really not about the fake anymore.'” These days, it seems like the girls now don't seem to be in contact anymore.

11 Rihanna Throwing Shade at Karreuche Tran

This time around, Ri-Ri found time to throw shade, and unfortunately, Karreuche was her target. This isn't too surprising, though, considering they both dated Chris Brown, which were both toxic relationships. What is with these women? Instead of going against each other, how about stand up together against him? Anyways, Rihanna posted a photo of rice cakes with sunglasses on and what looks like hoop earrings. The bad gal captioned the image, “Ima make you my b*tch.” Hilarious. Her squad found it funny, too. This shade was sparked when Karreuche was sporting cornrows on the set of CB's video shoot. Ri-Ri and her friends decided to poke fun at the poor girl. It's not really the first time these two have thrown shade at each other on social media. The “Rude Boy” singer loves stirring things up that have to do with her ex-boy Breezy. It doesn't matter who's involved as long as she somehow targets him.

10 Nicki Minaj Shading Iggy Azalea

Rapper Nicki Minaj has been open about her feelings towards singer, Iggy Azalea. Minaj isn't the sort of person that would hold back in the first place, so when it comes to how she feels about other people, she has no problem letting them know. At the BET Awards, Minaj spoke on stage about how she writes her own songs, unlike other “rappers”. Although, recently Remy Ma has put the rapper on the spot about using ghost writers herself. Nevertheless, we all knew she was referring to Iggy. It's been out in the open how the Australian singer uses ghost writers and always denies the rumors. Well, Minaj decided to just say what was on everyone's mind at that time. And what better event to share her feelings than at the BET Awards? This is certainly not the first time the “Anaconda” rapper expressed her sentiments at awards shows, and we have a feeling it won't be her last either.

9 Kim Kardashian Throws Shade at Beck

At the 2015 Grammys, Beck was fortunate enough to be awarded with Best Album, beating out Beyoncé and Sam Smith. Expressing her shock at the win, Kim Kardashian posted on Instagram her reaction to the singer winning the award. The reality TV personality decided to include power couple, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, in the photo, which made everyone like the diss even more. She captioned the image with, “This is the Beck won that award face!?!?! (sic).” The brunette thought it would be funny to play along with her husband, Kanye West, after he faked going up on stage to steal Beck's award, mocking himself when he actually did go up on stage when Taylor Swift beat Beyoncé in 2009 at the MTV Video Music Awards. People thought it was shade but at the same time, cute and funny.

8 Taylor Swift's Epic Shade towards Joe Jonas

On the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Taylor Swift stopped by and was asked about her relationship with ex-boyfriend, Joe Jonas. When the host asked her, the singer replied with, “Yeah that guy isn't in my life anymore.” Savage. But she didn't stop there. “I'm alright, it's cool. When I find that person that is right for me, and he'll be wonderful, and when I look at that person, I'm not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18.” The look on Ellen DeGeneres was priceless just like everyone in the audience. Swift pretty much called out the Jonas Brother for not being man enough to break up with her in person. It was one of the biggest disses that year. Even though Swift has made a career about talking crap about her exes, this piece of shade was the one of the most epic.

7 Reese Witherspoon Decides to Throw Shade at Kim Kardashian

During the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, actress, Reese Witherspoon, decided to throw some shade while accepting an award reciting her acceptance speech. Out of everyone in Hollywood, she felt the most appropriate person to take a shot at was socialite Kim Kardashian. “I get it, girls, that it's cool to be a bad girl, but it is possible to make it in Hollywood without doing a reality show,” the Legally Blonde actress said. She could have been talking about anybody in the reality TV industry, but when she mentioned about a sex tape at the same time, then it was clear about who she was shading. “When I came up in the business, if you made a sex tape, you were embarrassed and you hid it in your bed.” With that reference, Witherspoon made it loud and clear about how she felt towards the Kardashian.

6 Rob Kardashian Going after His Sister

So we've seen the ups and downs of the relationships between the Kardashian siblings through their reality show, Keeping up with the Kardashians. However, there has always been an obvious feud between Rob Kardashian and Kim Kardashian. In 2015, Rob decided to air out his feelings about his sister on Instagram. He posted a photo of the girl from Gone Girl with the caption, “This is my sister, Kim, the b*tch from Gone Girl… ” Rob has been going through such a rollercoaster of feelings, from depression to dealing with his weight gain, but he always seems to be putting the blame on other people when he's the one who needs to get his stuff together. Unfortunately for him, his sisters are so used to his ways by now. Plus, they are busy with their own careers that they don't bother reacting to their brother's shady behavior anymore.

5 Katy Perry and Taylor Swift

At this point, it's safe to say that these two are pretty much the new Britney and Christina today. Katy Perry and Taylor Swift publicly don't get along and use their music and social media to throw shade at each other plenty of times. But the one who allegedly started this feud was T-Swift with the release of her song “Bad Blood.” When the singer said the song was about a pop singer, Perry responded on Twitter, of course, saying, “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing… ” It didn't take long for people to put two and two together and find out she was responding to Taylor about her song. Ever since, the two subtly throw shade all the time at each other, and we can't get enough of it. Recently, Perry opened up about how she truly feels about her the Shake It off singer. “I wish I could turn the cheek every single time, but I'm also not a pushover, you know?” Perry said. Doesn't look like the feud between these two will end anytime soon.

4 Miley Cyrus Probably Shading Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez is not one to wear revealing outfits that much. However, in 2015, the singer posted a really attractive image of herself wearing what looks like a black laced tank top and her hair looking wet. We have to admit, she was looking pretty good. But one pop star didn't think so and thought something totally different when she saw the photo. Just moments after Gomez posted that picture, Miley Cyrus posted a very similar photo of herself on Instagram with the same pose and captioned it, “Do yiew tink if I push muah titties up I'll get mo followahhhzzzz?” It makes sense that Cyrus would do this, considering how she would throw shade earlier in the careers of not just at Gomez but also Demi Lovato. So if that wasn't shade at the “Good For You” singer, then we're not sure what Miley was doing.

3 Amber Rose Throws Shade at Kylie Jenner

When Amber Rose decided to shade Kylie Jenner during a radio show, people went crazy and couldn't stop raving about it all over social media with memes and gifs. In the radio show, Rose basically threw shade at Kylie's relationship with Tyga. “She's a baby, she needs to go to bed at 7 o'clock and relax,” Rose said to the radio hosts. “That's ridiculous. (Tyga) should be ashamed of himself. For sure. He has a beautiful woman and a baby and left that for a 16-year-old who just turned 17.” Sounds a little bit like jealousy. It makes sense considering the video vixen is besties with Tyga's ex Blac Chyna and was open about not being a fan of the Kardashians. But Kylie's older sister, Khloe Kardashian, didn't hesitate to stand up for Jenner and called Rose out and put her in her place.

2 Khloe Kardashian Throws Shade Back at Amber Rose

Defending her sister after getting shaded by Amber Rose, Khloe Kardashian took the shade to Twitter. In her comeback, Khloe alluded to Amber's former profession. “I was a stripper since I was 15 years old,” Amber Rose told Foxx in an interview. “Please don't worry about my sister who has a career & her sh*t,” Khloe tweeted. “Please stop talking about us in interviews mama. None of us talk about you.” Then someone decided to jump in and defend Rose for stripping because she needed to provide her family. But the Kardashian wasn't going to step down. “@jaileenieweenie: 'to provide for her family wyd' not mad she was a stripper. But dont say my sister should be in bed by 7 when she wasn't.” The Kardashian had a point, and the shade was just getting started. Rose was obviously not going to stop there since she loves to talk trash about the Kardashians whenever she can.

1 Amber Rose Shades Kim Kardashian in Response to Khloe Kardashian

Amber Rose has been open about her hate towards Kim Kardashian since her ex was Kanye West. She has long claimed that the rapper cheated on her with the Kardashian. So ever since, Rose is always available to shade Kim. In response to Khloe Kardashian defending Kylie Jenner, Rose took to Twitter to continue the shade party. “@khloekardashian I'm happy u brought up the fact that I was a stripper at 15… .” The 33-year-old personality tweeted. “@khloekardashian I'll be that lil whore to support my family like ur older sister is a whore 2 support hers. We're even ? #MuvaGivesFacts.” Rose has said in the past that she thinks the Kardashians are fake and selfish, so it wasn't surprising she didn't hold back on this Twitter feud. It was an epic and entertaining one for sure. And it seems like Rose and the Kardashians will not be seeing eye-to-eye for some time.
